Affidx is still on the cards for diagnostics division and an RNS is overdue IMO. So a scientist moving over is worth highlighting. But I will stop now

Why do you continue to belittle the value to Abingdon of having an Avacta scientist (with the wealth of product knowledge, systems knowledge and personnel relationships) within the company.

It would be the obvious thing to do to make the manufacturing relationship run smoothly.

A scientist from Avacta with a detailed knowledge of Affidx and her established relationships within Avacta would greatly help a future manufacturing relationship.

Abingdon were original manufacturers, one of their factories is on the doorstep, they have already worked closely in 2021. They have the track record of producing a preproduction batch of Affidx. They are the obvious choice for manufacturing son of Affidx. They don’t need a senior figure to assist a manufacturing relationship they need a scientist.

I didn’t necessarily mean a takeover.

You are all forgetting or ignoring the fact that Abingdon completed technical transfer by producing a preproduction batch of Affidx in December 2021 just before Avacta pulled the product.
If Abingdon were in the frame for manufacturing son of Affidx (which would make a lot of sense) then recruiting a scientist from Avacta would make a lot of sense IMO.

I noticed that this long term Avacta employee joined ABDX in Jan. Could be something given Avacta's clearly signposted M&A strategy in diagnostics, although probably nothing more than a simple career move.

I’m as excited as the next man that it works. Perhaps not as excited as those who will benefit from treatment will be, but still excited.

What’s not to like? I’m conformably back in the blue and there’s a lot more to come, with little chance of me going back in the red.

I’m very relieved and pleased I didn’t sell up when I was well underwater last year.

Oh I know why don’t we have another day of calculating the world market and profit percentages and what the market cap should be. Can’t you just be happy with the fact it works and wait for the next real news.

It ain’t negativity about Avacta. It’s negativity about the constant rehashing of old news on here and what it might or might not mean. What is the point of continually reposting sections of the RNS that are readily available elsewhere and “finding” new meanings and nuances.
