Kashdog what a grump !
You say these respectful and considered comments are 'pathetic and barely disguised concern for your respective holdings'. That's very hard - as a very LTH it's natural to be interested is it not ?
Then you question the sincerity of the Posters generally. Humbug !
RE: A post by patient X on Macmillan3 Dec 2022 00:05
I agree Konar - she would have commented I'm sure. Order has been restored to the Trial and some excitement (or disappointment) delayed. Never mind. We'll see.

Violin - I can't agree with - " otherwise WHY ask the question that was posted." Why ? Because X is concerned about the other person and the post is ONLY about the other Person is it not ?
However, I agree that X might not be in the 'mood' to reach out like this IF the 2nd scan did NOT have OK results or better . . .
3 cancer vaccine 'miracles' in New York2 Dec 2022 23:17
A wonderful story from Mount Sinai Hospital in New York:-
"Three terminally ill patients who took an experimental cancer vaccine were put into remission within months . . The vaccine teaches patients' T cells to recognize their cancerous tumors around the body and attack them . . One patient was told that she would likely die within the next three years — before the vaccine saved her life . ."
The treatment involves some radiation, injection into the tumour and getting the T-cells etc. into action. I didn't notice if this was a '3 out of 3' and if other Patients weren't so lucky.
The process is invasive and looks expensive. Just my idle opinion but Moditope if it comes through, looks preferable to me. But as for the treatments, the more the merrier eh?

Hi Cleaner - for the record Bermuda had made those points very early on when, let's face it, most of us were doing cartwheels ! Never mind - it was a bit of excitement . . .
Looking forward to more news and hoping X, Y Z and all are doing well. ATB
Nice one Ciaskin - surely it won't be long before an appointment is made . . . getting the Chair on board soon would be handy. I suspect LD already has someone in mind . . . she's usually well ahead !
WTP whilst an update from X might have been exciting it seems protocols have been quietly restored. Obviously X would want to share her experience with others and it's a shame if she can't do that. Maybe MM could have a limited access Forum for trial discussions with a vetted circle only and no interlopers like me allowed !
I remember reading a comment (somewhere) that Scancell had checked out the situation with MM - that IMO would have been enough to quietly 'correct' the situation.
Though disappointed I'm hoping we'll find out soon enough. GLX and all.
Well JC is going and let's hope poor health is not the reason - a second resignation as linked is a surprise. I thought he had recently taken on another non-Exec Chair. But I'm sure we'd all wish him well whatever the reason.
I wonder if we might yet see a stellar arrival - LLass posted an idea, Sir John Ball. Maybe he or KB might wait for news from the Modi1 or Covidity trials before deciding.
From a brilliant BB this soon descends under the right influences - some stirring it up again? Seems like polishing peanuts and scrabbling for the highest ground now. Fact is most here were happy to see X report - right or wrong.
I hope X is doing just great and that's for her. Calm down - we'll all find out in due course.
Konar I fear you may be spot on there. I recall reading that LD had checked with MM that what X had done was in line with MM Forum rules - (I can't recall the source of that sorry..).
Even a word in the ear to X by MM would inhibit her - X won't want to 'bite the hand that feeds' in any way. The rights or wrongs is a debate but personally I'd like to know right now!
As Botski says, the suspense is 'palpable' if not mesmerising. We'll see.
RE: Kate Bingham - Covid vaccines not up to scratch30 Nov 2022 23:17
WTP thanks for that link - I listened to the Kate Bingham interview and she is impressive as always - I am a massive Fan ! As I've posted before, could be an amazing Non-Exec Chair for Scancell . . . .
However there are vibes that Prof. Lindy has her own directions clearly in mind (and why not !) and KB might be too powerful and rock the boat a little. But the Non-Exec Chair doesn't run the Company or take decisions - the role is to chair Board Meetings and IMO the clarity that KB would bring to that would be a joy to see.
I would think that KB has almost unrivalled contacts around Pharma and Govt . . . . . it seems to be taking a long time to replace JC - maybe news soon on this front ?
Hi Roses. Thankfully an RNS any day is possible from any one of all these bubbles rising at Scancell but the X news - before or at the weekend? That's assuming the hullabaloo hasn't inhibited her. Let's hope for the best.
RE: How long will the rise continue?28 Nov 2022 22:51
Thanks Violin. Re. 21.18 - I have seen this confirmed here before, but thanks it's good to feel the breeze of your well informed comment. Your posts during the PanD were very enlightening and moving. I'm guessing you have retired now - if so, I hope that's going well. ATB

Bazooka no offence but anyone - Scancell top followed by GSK ? I'm just asking the 'wiser', is that link a serious one ? It seems a wonderful claim but where are they coming from? Are they right ? And again thanks for the 'find' Baz.
