Ruck - I can't agree that the number of employees would be a decisive factor in determining the price of an acquisition - indeed taking over 700 Employees is not all good - how do you know they are all talented ? Maybe only 40 qualify for that accolade. Surely it's the platforms of science and patents the company have to sell i.e. Immunobody, Covidity, Moditope, Glycans, Avidimab ( v. CAR-T ?)

The price your gonna get is the price someone is willing to pay and it looks like, in whole or in part, that could be substantial - all being well . . . . . . . .

Today's news relates to Cohort 2 where Modi1 is being used alone. Is that correct ? If so, surely the potential value of that success would be even greater than if it works equally well in Cohort 3 with the CPI ? just a thought . . . . .

Applauding the rate of progress since Redmile came on the scene, (as I was last week), I should have also mentioned that Scancell have achieved the progress we see now despite being under pandemic restrictions for much of the time !

Morning Bermuda and all. Last week I posted to the effect that some 'matters Pfizer' looked a bit murky, (apart from a 400% price increase). I am of course no expert but JC's 'look at' that EU enquiry had triggered my interest.

Pfizer's admission that 'transmissibility' had NOT been researched before the Vax was approved had been treated as a 'bombshell', i.e. as if something was seriously wrong. Not so. I looked around and found this https://youtu.be/JgrMzvasrm8?t=11 The Doctor here explains that in fact, that was the same for all Covid vaxes. The only 'beef' here could be if the vax had been presented as preventing transmission in those early days before anything substantive was known. IMO this link is well worth a look.

Another concern was that nearly all the lines of the contract copy given to that EU inquiry had been blacked out. I've no idea what is going on there ! It's also strange that the EU ordered such enormous quantities.

I'm glad I noticed these points and looked around - I learnt from it.
