21.5p share price is cash in the bank.
The company is on course to earn 8p per share in the year. Ignoring cash on the balance sheet it trades trailing PE of 11.6 and 8.8 PE with cash discounting. The forward PE is around 7 PE when discounting cash in the bank. This is beyond ridiculous cheap.

Pensana had a webinar today with Q and A with investors. Great news as it builds transparency which is a positive criteria for investment.

A second issue, is that the 25% tax on revenue arrangement was conditional on the original Chinese deal involving low concentrated material. The author is trying to get the new deal that probably exists exposed. Pensana are not revealing their cards while Peak and two other companies that own the Tanzanian mine thrash out a deal with the Tanzanian Government. Why should Pensana make that discussion easy as I am sure Tanzania will want a very generous deal just like Burundi wants with Rainbow Rare. Also did you read the garbage written about Rainbow Rare as well by REO and the praise given to Chinese producers who are probably dumping isotopes into the local population drinking water supply.

East Africa Int reduced, Barclays increased and two private holders were unchanged. % previous holders departed and 5 new entries were present. Out was HSBC Custody, ISI, Phillippa Cummins, Tasman Fund and Denobis who were new last time. In as new are Lawshare nominees, Peel Hunt, Security Services Nominees, HSDL nominees and Bank of New York. The top 20 listed have 85% of the shares.

Depends if it breaks resistance and the share holds above 1520 and gold shoots over 1840 on a closing price and is running higher. If so hold for divi and enjoy the ride.

The Angola press gave an interview with the geologist working near the mine site in late May 2021. They are planning to do quite a lot of exploration in 2022 that will convert some resources into reserves and inform mine planning around the extraction of weathered ore. They were also exploring in other nearby areas to add to resources.

The answer is they have not broken ground with respect to mining out ore. The original plan was to break ground and build the mine and send a concentrate of 36% to China for processing. It was abandoned in November 2020 in favour of establishing a UK processing facility in Saltend when the idea of freeports being created was initially discussed. The original plan was also to build the mine in two stages and now its a single stage larger development.

The long term support line is now above 133p area and climbing. News of the last patient recruited can drop anytime. The time frame for this break in trend is at the end of this month or early October.

The Two Non- executive Directors who resigned end of June 30 are still holding their shares in Pensana. I feel this speaks volumes in itself in the Pensana project and certainly gives me more confidence in my holding. I share this fact so that it does not need to be raised next week.

The problem with analysts is they all have different assumptions about the future gold price and then base any analytics on that outlook and hence you get a vast array of price ranges for Centamin. Tony

I am not going to repeat what I said before that 25% tax on revenue on 36% concentrates is not the same as no tax on NdO produced in a freeport. The company pays no tax for the first two years of production to pay off debt. The company then pays around $1250 per tonne as tax on a final product costing $5,000 per tonne which compares to Saltend which retails currently at say $78,000 per tonne of NdO. Angola benefits higher up value as they own 23% of Pensana which they actually paid for and it financed most of Pensana activities all of last year and up to June 2021.

For an African asset, the value of a measured and indicated gold resource has a value in the ground. The lowest price is $20 per ounce for the 2 million ounces at the current high gold price. Sometimes it may be $30 per ounce depending if roads or some infrastructure where miners and so forth can live nearby and the deposit is deep enough to defer antisanal mining but not so deep as to have high stripping costs.
