Absolutely right that its in nobody's interest especially the West. NATO has just left Afghanistan in a mess and UK, USA, Italy and France left Libya in a mess as well. If Russia wants to make a pigs ear of Ukraine we should let them get on with it and not add to our list. After 10 years Russia may wonder why on earth they bothered with high costs and so much hassle to maintain a North Korea like regime in place and if instead they gave it more time Ukraine would fall apart once the West became bored with any loans and debts not getting repaid. What would follow is a Ukraine election when a pro- Russian would invite their big Russian neighbour into Ukraine and ask again for them to pay off some of their debts and essentially run their country again. It would save everybody a war and a shed load of useless sanctions. Putin should not underestimate the power of future apathy. It is overwhelming and I am sure many in the West would prefer if Russia was far more crafty in how they get their influence instead of rolling in with tanks. Switching off the gas and not having hot food for say four days may serve them a lot better in getting what they really want.

Just heard Gina Martin Adams on Bloomberg Intelligence. More or less describes companies like a Shanta that offer quite significant PE growth in the future (2023) with PE and future dividend growth. Encourages me again to stay with Shanta hold.

I am still holding my Shanta and remaining of the view that it is an investment and hope to see real improvements as we go through the year.

The 50% retracement line at 92p did hold for 45 minutes. Just gave way after further heavy selling as we end the trading day.

Synairgen like many stocks was holding the last line before a breakdown. A number of shares have started to edge back up.

Should hold and start moving up.

Dial in looks like a pay for international number

It would be great if we had a Pensana shareholder who had Ian Duncan Smith as their MP. I have contacted Ian on one occasion with an article in Taiwan press about rare earths. He has asked the current administration a few weeks back why on earth nothing was happening at Saltend with no Government decisions. Making battery giga factories is not much good if they have no source for rare earths and magnet production, Ministry of Defence suppliers need it in their supply chains on various kit, power stations need to be built to provide electricity capacity to use EV cars and if they want sustainable wind farms they need those rare earths being made into magnets. Just wish someone would wake up government, make decisions, help plan the future properly for once and the future that is desired arrives. Instead we have someone lecturing on Peppa pig and getting plastered with his wine delivered in suit cases with subordinates. Tony

A lot of folks speculating on share value, but a highly successful trial actually has global significance. We are probably all fed up with our past freedoms being removed and want to be economically and socially active as before. Having a medication with high efficacy with focussed delivery on the proportion that need it gives the rest of us a freedom pass back again that is not controlled by politicians. The value of that freedom is priceless and every 11 November many of us remember those who gave the ultimate for us to have it. Synairgen is one of the few that so many of us will owe so much in just having our freedoms back again. Its perhaps not just a normal RNS that has to be put together in that a media line up is having to be also planned for. Tony

A day earlier with a presentation at 11am is hopeful. My fingers and toes are crossed that the CEO and the Board will redeem our confidence for 2022. I hope they deliver a really strong positive message and go into details for 2022. They have a tailwind of a higher gold price for the Monday start. A bumper Q1 would be fantastic. First target is getting back above 11p.

So overdue its not a joke anymore. I wonder if this lot are at wine parties with Boris.

The rising share channel is holding. it will be resolved in the next week or so, An RNS say by next Wednesday with good news would break the upper resistance and with any luck and we may get then get a run to 7p. Hopefully, one of the major bank shareholders has time to ring up some friends on the investment management side to show case HZM and that will do the trick to hold 7p area as well. Tony

I have not seen any recent broker notes. The negatives are inflation with increasing rates. Seimens energy dropped sharply yesterday (-28%) in response to higher commodity rises. EV car makers are also being hit with higher costs. So any production cost originally proposed by HZM has to be ignored as a new reality has emerged. Hopefully an RNS with an updated costing model on future production against a likely market rate may be prepared but the staff may be to busy with mine development work. Ironically the high nickel prices are adversely affecting the customer manufacture base who in turn see demand destruction on affordability issues with their customers. The current uptick is hitting 6.5p resistance on the HZM share price.

I notice whenever someone on this board uses the phrase feeding frenzy on this stock that it often acts as a sell signal for some other people to off load. HZM real value is 7p what major holders recently paid for it. The chart is forming a rising triangular wedge and its not certain which direction it will break. Anyone buying may want to do it in small amounts and similar if anyone is selling. Hope my opinion helps.

Apparently double vaccinated with booster vulnerable individuals who caught omicron of late, having being getting their anti-viral meds 3 weeks after first reporting symptoms to the NHS. So much for being able to take them within the 3 to 5 day window. Unless you have a pack in the meds cabinet at home forget it.

I suspect to save the stock markets, it is FIAT currencies being devalued against gold so as to make other sectors less expensive. It is another option for central bankers than just interest rates which are useless against high energy prices that require 10% interest rates rather than just 1%. Tony

25 January they RNS 4th Quarter results. Hopefully give a reliable range for targets they can meet this time. They really need to do a good job on it and get this share into the teens again.
