May have a bottom in place. We have signs of life in the chart. Quite often second week of January is good for miners especially when the last day of the first week improves (today) after a pull back.

Hope they all stay well and make us all prosperous in the coming year.

Stage 1 at least resolved. Surrounding countries have asked the demos to stop. Hopefully cool heads from now on to focus and solve problems. I wish Polymetal issued RNS to confirm all staff are okay and latest operational situation.

If they give us a cheap gold price in pounds sterling, people will load up the boat and a truck with the stuff instead of holding FIAT. Inflation in the UK is just getting started. A lot of people can see the edge of a cliff. The choice is print more and do more QE or face the music and start paying the bills. Either option favours holding gold and gold miner stocks.

It was heavily oversold and at 7.2 trailing PE. Looks as if your right Miss dollar. The average down still took 40p off for me. I have now bought back what I sold at 1510. Hoping for eveyone's benefit that things work out next week. Polymetal were expecting to report a good Q4 later in the month. The company should be able to confirm everyone is okay by Friday.

I had 159,000 GE on Varvara hub and thought it included Kyzyl. I was going through most of the mines but your quarterly report is a better presentation. I now understand my figure was annual for Varvara alone. Happy to be corrected and apologies for misinforming our readers which was not my intention. Kind regards Tony

We have a very serious stagnation problem. The impact is most of the economy. Small pockets are growth areas which benefit from people locked down in their homes and a dead cat is thrown out to say hey look at the growth over there and ignore GDP dropping over here. A lot of the GDP growth recorded is actually repairing damage to infrastructure arising from changes in our climate. Its not productive GDP and when that factor is included the real stagflation is far worse. We also have economists and central bankers on group think as they were on transitory inflation that we will not end up with continued stagflation. In the meantime we have to await the obvious actually being reported.

Kazakhstan assets are 10% of GE production and it looks as if 60% plus has been taken off the share price already. The assets are well away from troubled areas.

19 January with the SP at 201p before the RNS. The other bit is thrown in as a tie breaker.

Russia currently in discussions with USA after CSTO discussions with Kazakhstan President. Looks like Kazakhstan riots to be brought under control with troops on the ground.

Thanks Miss Dollar. Just got up to speed on Kazakhstan. Russia has offered to help. Russia has made $20B in gas profits already. As gas prices are at the heart of protests, i guess an answer can be found.

No I am not saying any information is leaked at all. I should stress that chart patterns can change, and all I can say is that we have a probability indicator and that is all.

I would rather have slow stochs near zero before big news than near 100 any day of the week. There is a lot of power available for a move up.

This could be setting up for news much earlier. We have no overbought signals anywhere. Hourly RSI down to 33 as it approaches oversold.

The chart show resistance and support lines converging and when they do its usually a really big move. The chart is only giving a hint of an event and the data could be ready before then of course. Tony

Now 18th or 19th January. Needs to move up from 192p towards 200p for this to remain the target date.
