Actually Gordon, you could make it up. Given past performance, you, I and others saw this sort of thing coming and were duly panned as 'traders' etc. AIM has no deadlines, just a series of random events that take place when the company is able to effect them and according to an ever changing timeline.

Eagle. Yes, the raise was nailed on but that didn't stop some from hammering those of us who mentioned it. Neither has it stopped the same people from acting now as if it was always on the cards. This pattern repeats itself over and over. As Sausage said, AIM companies are always fully funded until they aren't. At least Desree is now conceding that putting dates on anything happening is 'guesswork'. He/she/they weren't writing in that tone until today so progress at least.

desree. ***** was the third or fourth incarnation of someone who turned, pumped remorselessly and then disappeared when his wild predictions fell flat. the self proclaimed guru pumped a number of shares that pretty all tanked. this is around the sp it was when he told us pennies were imminent. we have been waiting for the 5th coming and clearly sausage believes that you are he. an occasional dose of realism rather than seeing everything through rose tinted spectacles might persuade him otherwise, although i suspect you don't spend your time stressing over his (or my) contributions.

Desree: My guess is that Gordon's timescales are based on many years of seeing deadlines missed and nothing happening in a hurry. If you don't care how long this all takes then you won't be bothered about what others say. I have no idea about timesscales and suspect that Roland doesn't either. His record with SYN is poor in that regard and there is no reason to believe that will change now. At some point things may well come good (pun intended) but anyone holding their breath might like to come up for air.

It means little to lose. Either things will be bad (s.it) or worse (bust).

Sprint: news is always "imminent" and has been since I bought 30 months ago. There is as much chance of an 'unexpected' further delay as there is of positive share price changing news. This is red or black and needs to be viewed that way. I read about nailed on winners every day; Rambler (gone bust), Inspirit (plunging), Echo energy (plunged)......I am holding 1.5 million in the vain hope of a profit before I reach 60. I am 57 at present.

No-one has needed to spend any time looking for non existent problems, the company has run into plenty of real ones for years.

Gordon. We both know that Desree will be gone soon enough. Another one who can't seem to accept those who disagree with him/her aren't shorters or derampers but lth who have seen deadlines continually missed and will therefore only believe things when they happen, not solely on the basis of vague 'promises'. Yes, pathetic and childish.

Sausage. That's a 50% rise from here, just for meeting a deadline that's been put back several times. I think it will need a lot more than that.

20 years ago I went on a date with a lady who said she would be there at 8. At 8.10 she rang to say it would be 8.30. She arrived at 8.35 apologising for being 5 minutes late. I said it was actually 35 minutes. I'm still single.

If I don't deliver what I promised on time, I lose the contract. The problem on here and elsewhere on AIM is that there is no jeopardy for those making promises that aren't met. They keep getting paid while we see our investnents drop. No-one is suggesting that they expect "a perfect world", just one in which promises are either kept or not bandied around thoughtlessly in the first place.

I am interested in the presence of positive share price moving news, not the absence of negative news. Many on here made wild predictions that have not come close to materialising. These were not open ended 'this will come good in the end' predictions but pennies by Easter etc. It would just be good if occasionally someone said something like 'sorry, I got that wrong' but it never happens. They just revise history and start again.

This was thrown at me when the sp was much higher and I suggested tough times ahead. Oddly enough the person accusing me of 'negativity' hasn't been heard from in a while. At some point my 2.5k may become worth many times more but today it is worth 1k. How low do we go before people accept that those who urged caution were right to do so?

I bought my first tranche of shares two years ago and topped up last April. I still have them all, does that make me a swing trader? Why is it that those who have held long(ish) term and who now have doubts about deadlines being met, based on failure to do so many times before, are 'traders'? When I mentioned a raise a couple of months back I got hammered by people who are now talking about it as if it was the most natural thing in the world and always going to happen. You really couldn't make it up. CDF was particularly offended that I wasn't overly excited at Baron's prospects and yet now he is more pessimistic than I am. Whose schedule? That is simply a guess. No-one knows what is happening and Briana didn't clarify anything. When a woman says she is "on the way" she hasn't necessarily left home as I have discovered over the years. She is simply getting ready to leave!
