Careful Paul. Many on here have an intense dislike of any mention of placings.......until one occurs at which point they will tell you why it isn't such a bad thing after all. Of course like all AIM companies we are "fully funded", until we aren't.
Pointing out that certain people have a long history of making claims that come to nothing doesn't sound like harassment to me.
Last October there was a lot of excitement here about a jv or a sale of both Chuditch and Dunrobin. In the six months since we have heard nothing about either of these potential outcomes. Either the board are playing their cards very close to their chest or the mother of all fund raises is round the corner. Black or red? Who knows.
My beef here is not with Baron but with those who believe these boards are only for those with rose tinted spectacles. Yes, I want the share to go higher and my comments will have zero effect on the sp. My concern is that we are two months away from drill or drop and as yet we have no indication how a drill would be funded. I see no indication of any substantive talks about jv or sale not least as management have been trailing round conferences trying to drum up interest. Serious fund raising looms on the horizon if nothing changes soon.
So it boils down to this (pun intended): if you post a cautious or negative comment you are a trader and will be green boxed. If you post a positive comment you are an investor. I don't believe that CDF is a ramper, not in the sense that he wants to push this higher on no news in order to pocket a quick profit. I do believe that he suffers from confirmation bias however, a common theme on AIM. He so desperately wants this to go much higher that he ignores any sign that it won't and blocks out comments that contradict this pre-conceived view. Clearly he won't reply as I am filtered.
Stuart. I've been trying to impart that message for months without much luck. This will take time and more funds. There was a lot of excitement last October but 6 months on we only inching forward. Surely no-one can still believe we are heading to pennies any time soon. Yes, I have a couple of grand's worth and will hold until something significant occurs.
Some of us knew a long time ago but we will never get any credit for it. When I say it will be months I'm a 'neghead' or some such nonsense. When that prediction transpires, suddenly everyone knew all along. You really couldn't make it up.
Funny how my comments before Christmas regarding no news before Easter were shot down as deramping and yet now we are talking the end of May. There is always jam tomorrow.....or in several months....
What happened to "Timber, no news in the pipeline" that you posted on 28th Feb? Given that there has been no solid news since then, why is it now going to "fly"? I'll be happy if it does but the change of heart seems odd.
I don't think I could be accused of being overly optimistic, but Baron was worth a couple of grand as a punt. I suspect you may be right Vetta but as with Synergia, one big piece of news and we are off to the races. My guess is that both will raise again before any news on jv, but if you have a diverse portfolio then you can have 5-10% in shares like this that promise high reward with an equal chance of big losses.
Jasper. The problem here is that none of the things he has purportedly told you have transpired in the timescale promised. Whether you speak to him is not the issue, it's the value (or not) of what you are told. How about "sorry, I was wrong" just for a change?
If you don't get your hopes up it's hard to be let down. I would like to think that we have finally laid to rest the idea that Jasper has an inside track to Roland. Sadly, he will do it again in the future and some will be sucked in while he takes 10 to 15%.
Last week there was quibbling over whether Jasper had said that an rns was due by last Friday or the end of March, with one poster putting the latter in block capitals for those of us with failing eyesight. At present that argument seems moot but there is always tomorrow. Perhaps there will be jam too.
Maybe no ccs licence in this round.
Daprophet. Quite right. CEOs will answer questions attempting to elicit sensitive information by saying "when there is news It will be in an RNS" which is exactly how it should be. They may also say something like "we are on track to meet the timescales laid out in the RNS of.......(insert date)". Put those together and add Jasper into the equation and you end up with his now removed post.
If we reach .3 before funds are raised again, I will come on here after selling and admit I was wrong. If the reverse occurs Spotify, will you do the same? The idea that I don't have any patience is a complete rewriting of history. My 'negative' comments have been full of warnings to others not to get carried away. You can't have it both ways, telling me to be patient and yet labelling posts that I write exhorting others to be patient as negative. That would surely make you negative too.
