I am in here and in Baron Oil and neither seens to be going anywhere. A lot of hot air but no gas. Fund raises are looming large for both unless something significant happens by year end. A so-called joint venture has been talked about for more than 12 months in both cases but nothing concrete has ensued. Frankly I wouldn't be surprised to be holding worthless paper by Easter.
If he is Jasper it's a very poor imitation. No ridiculously bullish predictions or claims to have the inside track. Furthermore they have had several slanging matches so it would really be a classic case of split personality.
No apology for all the complete rubbish that was posted last year telling me I was a trader and a deramper for not sharing in the wild predictions about pennies for Oilex/Synergia....just "I'm not invested anymore". If ever there was an example of doing your own research and ignoring the hysteria, this is it.
I said yesterday that investor presentations often disappoint and suspected that this would be no different. Those who want to believe the best will do so as will those who want to see the worst. I am very much yet to be convinced and insipid stuff like today doesn't help.
I had no confidence that there would be big news before tomorrow. There is no history of delivery from Syn, other than it being late. Investor presentations always worry me because people expect far too much and disappointment invariably follows. When rates are known, they may be good, poor, excellent or dreadful. This is red or black, take your pick.
Would be great if it worked that way Sausage but too many will be out at every point on the way and sp progress will be very hard. A big jv announcement might change the dynamic but .44 is a very long way off. If we hit .25 this year, a bag from here, many will be off with 'job done'. I will wait until year end regardless but I haven't spent my money just yet.
What about people who have waited several years for share price moving news ( ie a bag or two) and have suffered so many let downs that they will only believe things when they happen, are we allowed to turn up? Are we so called derampers even though we haven't sold and aren't looking for a cheaper entry?
Surely after all these years you know better than that Gordon. The next rns may be great but history says it could equally disappoint. Some will take their short term profits while we lths watch on and hope for the best.
One person knows if or when Zag has sold his shares and how many, everyone else is speculating/guessing. I have one concern only and that is that we see sustained good news asap and with that a concomitant rise in the sp. Tweets, repeatedly changing predictions and childish posts that only the poster thinks are funny won't butter any parsnips.
Truly hoping that this time we are going up and staying there but I have thought that a dozen times in the last couple of years. We could get a bumper rns or a complete dud. An investor presentation doesn't mean guaranteed good news but equally we might blow the doors off, lucky for the Doors I hear you say. This is red or black and you take your pick.
