Morning IP3LY - Don't know much about crowdfunding but not needing more money can only be a good thing right ?

Maybe they're finally in the process of landing a big contract or buy out/merger etc. I truly can't think of any other reason to turn down money. Never heard of that in my life !

We should post it on reddit. Tell them the establishment don't want TEK to succeed and are holding down the SP!

That would be hilarious CM. Wouldn't take more than 100-200 traders buying in with a decent wedge to push this up to 50p. We've seen how quickly it moves with just a little extra volume :)

We'll see some more 150k delayed trades. There were 2 yesterday and 1 the day before.

Keep buying Cam. It's working - Meanwhile I ll tap up Leonardo DiCaprio and getting him moving some pink sheets.

That's pretty much priced into the SP now D.Monies.

Clearance will value the SP around 30-35p so if it does arrive it's double bubble plus from here. You pays your money and take your chance as they say

When they crowdfund they value low so that investors buy in on potential upside so could be interesting Libero.
Bit of a shame that we will only get the slightest glimpse of how the LUCYD lytes are going as I get the impression that the product is good and that it's selling, however, you 'd expect sales growth to be exponential so will take a while to really get going. I'm guilty of being a major detractor with regard to LUCYD but they just might surprise.

Looks like the MM's are definitely trying to encourage sells which would lead you to believe there are more buy orders around 15p lurking around. Not much selling going on though so we look like we are bottoming out for the time being.

Luke your 10p would be bottom of a very long term support line through the last crash. I'd never say never as but imo it would take a crash supported by bad news to get there and then you'd probably be having to evaluate whether you would want to buy anyway !

I agree though that if it drifted anywhere near there on no news it would be 'kitchen sink' time

You know the way it is on AIM. The RNS we want will drop at some point but the SP could go anywhere beforehand !

I'd really hope so. 3 months is average so could take a bit longer but as we approach the end of this month if we haven't already heard I'd hope that TEK would update us regardless.

I expect TEK will be getting a few emails over the next few weeks so I'm sure they know there will be mounting pressure to update the market on where Belluscura are

I think TEK's statement witht the placing on 17th November suggested that guidance for 510k Clearance in H2 2021 remained on track. Guidance would have come from Belluscura, not TEK. The comment on that RNS suggested to me that they had not heard any different so that's what they penned as an update.

The RNS on 3rd December however quoted the Belluscura CEO :
Robert Rauker, CEO of Belluscura commented:

"Whilst we do not have a specific timetable, we have been told by the FDA that, as a COVID-19 treatment, the device will be given priority review and we are hopeful that FDA clearance will be granted this year."

His comments suggest it was unlikely to go through by the end of the year. Words like hopeful doesn't imply confidence that it will clear so quickly. We know that even emergency clearance takes 3 months on average.

Not the wordplay on the original RNS regarding guidance I agree but the CEO of Belluscura certainly wasn't hanging his hat on it

Your thoughts aren't too far out of kilter with mine. For what it's worth, and it is without doubt pure speculation on my behalf I think the US listing is a precursor to either Belluscura or Guident news but more likely Belluscura, at this stage, owing to the pending FDA approval.

IMO, once that arrives they will drive the SP as high as they can (hopefully around the 30-35p mark, the sp weakness at the moment is due jitters as to whether this approval will transpire in my opinion). More speculation but once they've bulled up the SP I can see a placing so they can exercise their option to bump up their stake in Belluscura.

I know there are doubts around Belluscura but Clifford Gross referred to Belluscura as a 'remarkable company' in one of his interviews a year or so ago. To my knowledge he hasn't referred to any other of the portfolio companies as 'remarkable' so he clearly regards them highly and if you buy into TEK you are in essence buying into the management.

Just my thoughts but it's a 'scenario' where all the pieces fit together at least :)

The spread is mad and simply doesn’t encourage to buy more on the drop.

Ig Index or trading account Giancotti ? - Spread looks wide within my trading account but when I dummy sell or buy it's a lot closer. Ig on the other hand will skin traders alive with this one although I appreciate they'll say they are protecting themselves against the high volatility that comes with it

Topcatz honest question as you may well he a more experienced investor than me but do you actually believe they will get approval

Morning Sea. Yes I do but I always set my timeline this time round for somewhere around the end of February as the wheels of beasts like the FDA moving far slower than we could possibly imagine. What happens after is of more interest though as TEK and their share + options could take play it more than one way
I might be wrong of course and wouldn't want anyone to be basing any decision on what I say. I'm just an unknown face on a BB.

The one saving grace with TEK is that although it's prone to it's ups and downs there is always some sort of news not too far away.

Can't be far off some sort of update for Guident. A Belluscura RNS is also going to open the floodgates to trading too as we don't know how TEK management are going to play it. Are they going to take up their options (that would require a placement of course but they'll be buying cheap) or are they going to exit immediately with or without the option. That could end with the 'special dividend' mentioned in one of Clifford Gross's many interviews.

Investor fatigue setting in. Like a yoyo this one

It looks like the $5m valuation more than doubles the carrying value and adds about 2.2p to the NAV per share. -

Good point Calamari. It will be interesting to see how long they take to reach their target. It's a quality product and seems to be gathering interest quickly by the looks of it. As always, we shall see

Seamanp. I wouldn't give up on Belluscura. The FDA take their own sweet time and there is absolutely nothing anyone can do about it (except a large backhander of course - I never said that :))
