Hello smart.. Just got a chance to read your piece.
If you dont mind me saying that is a load of waffle. CC had its stops and starts over several years but the Indian market was not committed to Smart in early stages and just wanted something for nothing, plus technology was constantly changing. It's break came with takeover of Connode, their Mumbai competition. IPv6 as we know is the centrepiece of Smart.
CC struck lucky with MYSORE and INDORE in getting the contracts but their technology is what won the day and were show pieced by GoI. You could not do better than that.
This coming Framework is probably with Intellismart (basically the India Government) and could be massive, together with OPEX/TOTEX monthly sums coming in there is to my mind no way that CC is not going to progress rapidly this year.

Hi jake.. Adani is a massive group, is it one of the group of companies that lost this Smart contract due to undisclosed circumstances.
If we were in that pipeline it would have been valuable but now we will probably never know.

yes that is what I was asking, as JC said we associate with Adani. Adani had not given out any names for contract, the CC Framework had not named names, I was just asking.

jake, is not Adani who has lost the contract and involved with the Bond problem.
Could it be that the unnamed contractor is Adani.
I understand he is dealing with situation so he could possibly get it back.
Nobody has been named for Framework may be with same group. What are your thoughts.

Hello ITT.. the bottom line is, I know, you know, we all know that CC does not make meters.
So why keep dragging it up, it was corrected. I am not at all concerned about a typo. We are minor investors who want to make money. We all have moans occasionally but not as much as you two. CC has never been in a better position, you must be happy that we have come a long way from 7p. CC (India) is a well organised company with many contacts so we should do very well. You certainly will not cash in, your words apart from finding fault with RNS are ignored by BOD, so just sit back and watch the 1p's rise (each one a lot of £s in your case).

I am not having a go at you ITT the problem is that Colour has a love/hate relationship with JC, his previous comments have bourne no fruit saying CC was a niche company, that now proved wrong, he wants to stay in but cannot loose face. You would have thought that with your considerable holding you would not want to see SP drop or are you just trying to get a few more in the pot at this price. Surely you must be satisfied with your present holding.

The Adana situation may have caused a bit of a problem. I think we were on that Smart contract. If the Adana problem was just related to the Bond issues, which spread very quickly, I think he has taken action to resolve it. If this is the case the contract could well be reinstated. This is way outside of CC control.
I think JC indicated that we are in for big times so just hold on. This is a small company it cannot produced facts out of thin air. You would not all be buying in if you thought it was a dud. Don't forget the rise was on the issue of new shares, impressive the size of rise.
There is a lot of confidence. Hang on to your shares, but of course you will wont you.
So why all the moaning especially you ITT, Colour is just saving face after saying CC was a no hoper but at the same time buying more shares. The mind boggles.

Smartinvestor, if you have just come onboard, I would think you have picked the right time.
CC has moved itself up in India Smart circles to the top.
Smart Meters are only smart because of the Smart Comms that goes between the digital measuring bit and the Utility end billing system.
CC can now handle any platform in any meter, India requirements that have caused most of the delay, they now want to push on urgently. CC is in the right position and is now the best product to do this.
However do your own research.

LTI, to my experience apart from founders, Directors normally step in to prevent a slide or when the company is on the up, they being in the know. I think we can see current prospects and I bet long termer's have not sold a single one.
Board meetings around the City usually start about now so morning could see some action.

In no way could CC be geared up for manufacturering. If anything they would buy in and you are back to where it started.
The take from first RNS is that CC is involved in many of aspects from HES to training and that is probably worth more than $20 a unit.
Any shedding of shares today will probably grabbed up by the big boys.

Very good, considering all the areas that CC is likely to get involved with training etc. the fact that prices have been agreed in advance is very important.
With CC being agnostic any approved meters can be made smart. I do not think any rules apply inside the meter case, I think the GoI were just aiming a having multiple meter suppliers. With a few exceptions I feel that CC could become the Smart Comms standard for India.

Hopefully we will not hear any further references to EDF unless a direct threat to CC.
My belief is that CC remains the Lynchpin to most of India's Smart Comms with all platforms covered including IoT.
