Just having a quick read on other BB regarding INDORE success.
I agree nearly all Utilities could not afford Smart under CAPEX as they had no money to put up front. I suppose INDORE took a chance and it paid off.
With the new finance in place OPEX/TOTEX they now have no up front costs, probably get less financial return, but gaining from start and building income with less theft.
This is more likely the only way that 5m>10m unit orders would get under way.
As there was a build up of tenders awaiting SLA approvals I think the flood gates will now open and we will see a lot more Framework mass orders within months.

Well Colour you must be realistic, its a small working company amongst giants, it is starting to amass staff (not too many I hope) so the RNS blunder, which was not that alarming, yet pointed out by you, will be prevented by PR staff in the future. JC has got to recognise that he is no longer a one-man-band, being harassed by you, LOL.
I think CC is no longer the niche company that you said was going nowhere big time.
Lastly don't keep on about EDF, however if you have facts of their presence in various states, not generalisations, that would be interesting.
Also remember that CC got a 1m unit order for asap installation in Bihar, now even you must have taken one step back and thought I wonder why that was, this small nobody company.

LTI, I know we have discussed the merits of keeping CC transactions secret for commercial reasons but to attract new investors CC needs to show contract monetary figures. From statements over the past year I have worked on a ratio of £20m:1m units. So rather than say we have won contacts of 2.3m units would it not be better to say we have won contracts of £xxxm.
I say this because newbies are looking at cash, the contracts can consist of various sums for HES, training etc so not giving any secrets away.
As JC's says get the cash in, a lot of SP viewers are fleeting past and money catches the eye.
Given a choice between displaying units or cash of contracts it is cash every time for me.

What exactly do you think CC is going to do.
What is the maintenance bit for .
What is the training.for.

The fact that the Framework is for 3m is interesting.
Over the years many contracts that CC had obtained the Utility had a customer base of 3 to 4m. My logic here is that as CC has proved itself so well then one (or more in future) of these Utilities may opt for Framework for coverage of the whole customer base.
Times have changed with OPEX and its now a no cost, win, win for Utility.
Of course only my opinion. DYOR

It refers Omnimesh, maintenance etc. Nothing there that suggests CC will not be providing all these features. You might like to look again.

Well Colour with further thought it would probably not refer to INDORE as in that case the Utility themselves probably would be publishing it as they did last time.
Regarding the 3m I think they will be providing the Smart Comms but not the actual meters.

LTI, just had a thought.
I wonder if the Framework relates to INDORE.
The Utility highly praised CC and were eager to speed up roll-out.
This could fit in very well with the Genus CC production process.

What is CC's position in INDORE, did they take the lead for tenderer.
I asked this because I am wondering if CC can take the lead in a project, certainly got a good company setup.

We all know that dealings in India are not straight forward.
Makes you wonder what this Engineers Association stands to gain as upgrading existing systems would probably not stop theft to the extent that is required..
As INDORE, which has had India Government approval, was pushed through that state and did not attract criticism, it may have been a good pricing model with tweaks for locations.

Hello LTI.. as you say we all have our own opinions.
I would have gone along your line of thinking a few years back but we are now told, quite rightly, that CC is leader of the pack for Smart Comms. I would not have thought Genus or Intellismart would have held back. Unless of course Intellismart does not want to upset other parties.
You do not see other companies (Itron) hiding under a bushell.
I think JC realises that selling additional shares and mentioning Framework will create SP rise by sentiment but to hold it you must elaborate.
My thoughts only.

LTI, at this stage of the game I would like to see JC name names not just Framework. CC has established itself as a Smart Comms leader in India so it is in my opinion an advantage to a tender leader to say they have incorporated CC software.
I think CC will get 40%+ of the 100m unit tenders being floated.
On old equation, 40m X $20m = $800m. Together with other ROW orders got to be 400p.
Not fly by night thinking of maybe/maybe not, I would say 90% chance of getting these tenders and possibly more.
