Just to clarify there are is no stipulation in HH2 or HH1z planning of gas to wire and OGA and EA permits have been approved.

Of course it’s the right way to go and later permissions such as Brockham have included gas to wire.
Gas to wire is included in the HH3-6 application

I think the viewing platform was moved for something not on the HH2 plans or the HH3-6 plans... I think it’s the big fat electric cable for the gas to wire...
As such the site has no electric, Only generators. The introduction of mains electric would mean less need for generators. And electric exports once the bank of generators are installed ( when permission is granted)

The company needs to invest in assets to make money.
They need to be best value. Buying them now costs is a 12% discount (premium ) on the share price. After a CPR the price could go up 10X.

If there were a placing it would be for an aquasition.

I did my own energy audit on my insulated 1950s bungalow.
For every KW of electric I use 6 kw of gas.
If I use an electric car it would ipuse the same as I use domestically in electric.

To go all electric I need 8x the electric I currently use. I need to invest £30,000 in a car. The electric industry need to produce over 16x the current green energy. They need to increase the grid and cable capacity to cope with 8 times usage.
Or my home needs to be demolished and rebuilt to carbon natural standard at a cost of £300,000

Where does that money come from? Possible if you are earning £40-50k but for the millions below that , and the retired, disabled etc. Who will subsidies their electric car, house rebuild or grid investment?

If you think oil is only a fuel..... go to hospital and ask them only to treat you with equipment made from paper wood and steel....

I can assure you all councils are as bad.
My council allowed a 52ha farm to be destroyed claiming that less than 10ha of grade 3a agricultural land would be built on. Because they could dig up the grass verges and plant vegetables at time of crisis such as war.

I have a lot of experience in planning over 3 major applications and 3 appeals.
No plan of this scale goes in without an amendment. The 12/16 week clock stops whilst the applicant is allowed to mitigate the issues raised by the planning comments made by the public or statutory consultants.

So they will submit a modification, a new report or drawing will appear for the minimum 3 weeks . Then the clock will restart and then when every one is happy it will go to planning.
That is how UK planning works.
