HH2 is a completely new well, designed to go down to the Portland then horizontal as a Portland production well

HH1 is to continue producing whilst HH2 is drilled as long as we haven’t bust our permisssiins
After that HH1 is to have a horizontal side track drilled into the Kimeridge layers
Also assuming planning has been granted the tanker filling station will be built and gas to wire installed

On what planning grounds were your windows amended ? Visual impact on the street scene? Overlooking? Or they failed the thermal design criteria of building control?

The difference between UKOG and Angus I’d we have a placing and the asset is bought. The drill and the exploration work happens. Sometimes slower than you expected.

With Angus they claim to be fully funded, then raise. Money to do what they were fully funded for and 20 weeks later raise more money to do the same. How they spent 2m in 10 weeks? What it went on? And to rais another 3m to dflow test Balcombe when there is no planning application submitted?

I digress. You are investing in a high risk sector with high returns when it goes right. It’s not money for nothing. There is not a fixed schedule.

The company are building a huge portfolio that mitigates risk. Increases the workflow and chances of success.

Where as Angus, in my opinion wend on a trip down a cul de sac. And they are too big to turnaround

The year end accounts show the money is there, just because de-rampers are always attempting to raise doubts the money is on the accounts.

There are deliberate attempts by de-rappers to confuse people between the money set aside for the ongoing works program, and monies raised to expand the assets.

Looking through my gas and electric bills my kw used was 7x more gas than electric. My car use would be equivalent to 1x my domestic electric. So we need the grid to produce and distribute 8x current demand to reach the green dream.
As less than half electric is renewable or nuclear, then we would need 16x current production!
The distribution network would need fatter cables, bigger transformers.., maybe not 8x as it would be 24 hour demand rather than peak surges.

The alternative plan might be demolish all housing stock, and build carbon neutral houses with huge cost and then the demolition and waste of 30m homes. Building 30m homes on green field or brown field sites? The energy needed to make all those products and ... oil needed to make insulation materials...

If you look for graphs of Uk or world reduction in oil use you will see little change.
You will see a reduction in emissions but the use of oil and gas are more or less the same the same.

Norway is a conundrum. They made £100k per Nowegian inhabitant out of oil..... and they turn against their own pay check and promote green energy. Before the oil they were skint. Reliant on fishing...
it is interesting to observe the rich buying solar panels, large electric cars, wooden floors and luxury goods.
Poor buy small petrol cars, put carpets in, plastic garden furniture.

Angus have no significant production for 3 drill operations , 2 years. They have Brockham with planning consent to produce upto 1000 bopd.
There is no application in to return to Balcombe (yet they raised money on that) Lidsey is ? ?? ...
holmwood is dead for now.

Compare that with a producing well, 2 tankers most days.
Planning for 2producing side tracks. Planning submitted for 4 more wells.
Planning in the pipeline for Dunsfold gas and oil.
I’m sure the paperwork is being prepared to return to Broadford Bridge
Then there is Arreton.. if they can submit planning soon please
And a plan for the two years totalling 9 wells

With all these plans you can afford one to trip up.
I don’t in any way think we are behind angus. More like 200 tankers in front.

I do my best not to pay anymore tax... I haven’t paid income tax or NI for 4 years...
I haven’t paid CGT... by carefully selling my shares matching loss making shares and profitable shares to stay below the threshold.

You can also transfer between spouses CGT free.

The bast place for any share is in the ISA.
The lower the price the more you can get in there.
Once you have your capital in the ISA you can buy and sell what you want.
No taxes, unlike a pension which is taxed at your rate when you take it out. (25% tax ferret lump and unused personal allowance is tax free too)

So if you accumulated £500k in an isa you could sell the lot and buy a house.
But outside the isa you would pay tax on gains over £11,700 this year and £12000 next tax year

An isa has liquidity

Back to UKOG shares..
As a long term investment you might hope them to multiply within your investment timeframe
If/when they do you can sell some/all
You can reinvest in other shares, or draw all/ some money out tax free.
In small amounts or as one big fat chunk.. tax free!

I can’t see why you would not use an ISA.

There is lots of news in the pipeline. SS has built a portfolio of drill assets. He is experienced , seen many small oilers fail because they had only 2-3 sites. It’s a balancing act between trying to grow too fast and getting bogged down in permits and planning on too few sites.

Government needs to speed up the process between the three stages from exploration testing and production from 5 years to 18 months.

I don’t really care if people choose to move some money to Angus, I wish them well and hope the use of huge quantities of nitrogen have not stirred the silts in the kimmeridge clays.

My gut feeling is they will need a new, clean side track. Then plug between the limestones and mudstones. Test each layer independently. No acid.

We will get a rig.... the oil isn’t going anywhere ... UKOG are a customer they will want to keep happy.. they will find a rig

On the other hand the little fuel barge could shuttle between Cowes and Hamble with just 30-40 min travel time. Doing 3-4 trips a day including loading time...
The Cowes Southampton car ferry takes 1 hour including loading

I researched this a few months back... the reason it’s a dinkey little craft is it has to go over the chains of the Cowes chain ferry....
It’s not the practice solution...the solution is a very short sea bed pipe to Hamble or Fawley. This has been done for a gas pipe. The northern coast of thE IOWis not as sensitive as the southern side or Freshwater. (Ramsar, SSSI, Etc )

There is planning provision for the gas in the HH 3-6 application.
There is also planning provision for gas in the Broadford Bridge and Dunsfold applications
