Our live Investing Matters Podcast Special which took place at the Master Investor Show discussing 'How undervalued is the UK stock market?', has just been released. Listen here.
If trial has been rescheduled to September then that should be RNS'd as it could materially impact the share price.
Zak M has a target of 30p on his BBHeroes site.
The catalyst for this target could be rescheduled trial date!

PD info will be subject to NDA.
Does not look good for the boffins.
On the flip side, if they were going to go with Innova, perhaps they would already be doing so..
So Bodes well for Avacta.

Looking at the lateralflowtest.co.uk/certifications:
* The MHRA 'approval' merely states that the manufacturer, 'ACON Biotech (Hangzhou) Co Ltd' and its test, are Registered. The letter from the MHRA specifically states, "Please note this letter does not represent any form of accreditation, certification or approval by the UK Competent
Authority.". To call this MHRA approval looks misleading.
* The amount of virus is specified using Ct value, which is not an absolute scale.
* There is a claim about detecting new variants, but the results do not include data about variants.

They will roll back the lighthouse test facilities and pcr. Its costly and time consuming.
Also when individuals go out into the Community for a test are at risk!
Speed and home testing is the key!
Also if accuracy is present that's all that matters!
After 10 days of self isolation you return to the community with a PCR test.
Regular testing with LFT identifies the start of 10 day self isolation period.
So to conclude use of PCR will be ramped down, if the statistical data in field use shows the sensitivity and specificity is right up to where Sir Al hopes to achieve!

30 years supply of PPE!
Have you not heard of sell by dates?
LFT also have a sell by date!
It is on public record how many tests the Govt bought (research). More and better LFT's are required.
The Avacta one is the best LFT.
We niw know the statistical sensitivity and specificity from PCR testing in the field.
Question for me is will PCR be required when the Avacta LFT is available or if the Avacta/Mologic LFT is available?
Testing in the field and statistical data will indicate this.
The LFT always had cost, time, mass test capability, home test capability on its side. If it has accuracy sensitivity and specificity), then the Holy Grail is reached.
Its then a question of supply!
That would be a nice position to be in!

Just witnessed the Innova LFT.
No reference to Innova on the packaging.
Good instructions.
The reporting is very mandraulic.
Time consuming.
No doubt everyone does it without complaining.
But boy oh boy it could use an app!
Test, test, test
Has the S&S been validated by clinical trials?
Porton Down?
Are are manufacturers attempting to place unvalidated (by MHRA) products on the market??
What's the idium?
"No test is better than a bad test"

Just had a quick look at the document, without trying to recreate the numbers:
* PCR test Sensitivity, at 94.8% for the best fit to the data, is better than I have often assumed. Months ago, I was reading that, because of the difficulty of taking Nasopharyngeal swabs, PCR test Sensitivity could be as low as 80%.
* LFD Specificity is excellent.
However, note the Innova test's Clinical Sensitivity, at 50.1%, is utterly miserable, see Tables 3 and 4 of the Government document. Surely this dreadful Sensitivity is also a huge take-away from the Government Document??
Talk about accenting the positive.
The affimer LFT will be much better!!
The Avacta Affimer LFT is THE test with Anterior Nasal.
But we know that don't we!!!

Daily Mail reporting that British Airways launches rapid Covid-19 test kits from Qured that cost just £33 and can be used anywhere in the world - and MailOnline gets a result from one within 30 minutes. You can also see the importance of a digital test result record via smartphone app!!

Loks like BA moving away from PCR to rapid antigen testing!
Hopefully, Avacta test being 10-20 minutes speeds up the transfer from Qured to Avacta!
Test data or info on the Qured antigen test anyone?
