jr71 - On the LSE listing - stop the clock! It didn’t sound right to me, especially with all the info about ASX in the distribution RNS of 27th September, and not what we were expecting, so I emailed Russell & Dave - it’s news to them! Watch this space! I’d expect a correction email from HL!
Prop - on today’s prices it’s pretty much even Stevens for value of distributed CAI shares v KRS held, but look back to the last chat we were all having when CAI were a cent higher & KRS down in the 30s. It’s still all a variable at weeks away from distribution, still a punt, but a jolly good one!

SBK - “The only thing I don’t understand is the residual value in KRS split equally between the two holdings..?” .....mine doesn’t say that, it says “Please note that the existing cost price of your Keras Resources plc shares will be split between the two holdings following the Demerger BASED ON their respective values at the time.”
& PC re. that the overall value will remain broadly the same doesn’t make sense, but then KRS current share price doesn’t make sense either!
Us too PC!
Totally unexpected but great news - they won’t be able to blame us for any selling on the ASX!
And makes it easier for us to buy up more.
Guess we might see people then selling Keras (especially if no Togo news through) to buy more Calidus? In that case we might push the CAI price UP!!
Well found PC!
Interesting that the 8mill traded is made up of 80 trades, & so on average about 100,000 & probably not major players.
Why anyone would want to sell at this point in time is baffling, but guess we all need cash out sometimes. Looking forward to holding &, going on more good results today, seeing this grow. GLA
Hi PC
Forms weren’t there earlier, but found them now - https://www.kerasplc.com/constitutional-documents/. Forgot to say, open the Corporate Documents arrow!
Anyone going to the meeting?

Hi PC
Couldn’t agree more.
As I said to DR, it’s a real conundrum - price of CAI, timing, price of KRS .....
He was gauging the temperature by asking me & SBK, & anyone else?
I just thought a few more thoughts on the matter might assist him.
Once he’s decided if parcelling is needed & beneficial then sure, he’d write to all shareholders.
Sounds like it’s already a complicated process for them & this could be a fair bit of work - how many “end” shareholders are there even?
As Chirpy Cheep said on Hot Copper recently - not many will be wanting sell at CAI current price.
DR emailed me too, with the same question. From SBK’s post & the replies so far you seem to think there’s an ulterior motive & it’s something secretive to do with Keras. But it’s the Calidus shares, once distributed, that he was asking about, & whether it’d be a good idea to package them up to an institutional investor if there was likely to be a lot sold by us Keras shareholders. Guess he feels it’s a fear of Keras shareholders selling off Calidus shares en masse that is holding Calidus price back. How about you each email him with an indication of what you might want to sell so he can get a better idea?

Pablo - I read it that Keras needed to pay off Brian & Dave’s loans to be able to distribute the capital (shares). Complicated process - company law, UK & AUS tax laws, exchange rate, share price & cut-off date all to put in the equation!
The value of Keras after the Calidus share distribution to shareholders depends on various factors, other than Togo.
The distribution we know is capped at £15,000,000, so, on current AUD to GBP exchange rate, our 723,750,000 shares can only rise to 3.8cents; above that & Keras will have to retain some shares, giving them value over & above Togo. The way the gold price keeps rising, and with plenty of results from Warrawoona promised, I’d be surprised if the share price doesn’t exceed that 3.8cents before the shares are distributed to us, so I foresee Keras having a residual value.
“ Managing Director David Reeves is the largest shareholder in KRS (16.67%), and following a successful distribution, his shareholding in CAI will increase from 1.1% to 7.25% (fully diluted basis)” doesn’t allow for the £15m cap on the distribution to KRS shareholders ! Not that it makes a lot of difference to the point being made.
It will be good to get news on the first step forward with the distribution!
