SBK - Calidus shares in your HL ISA is OK according to their message to me in June - “ At the moment we hold Keras Resources shares in CREST (The UK settlement system), once we receive the new Calidus shares, as they are an Australian stock we have to hold these in our global custodian account with HSBC. We will be able to hold the shares in your ISA or SIPP if you wish, there are no regulations stopping this.”
Yes, thanks to all who’ve posted their feedback from last night’s meeting. Lots of happy bunnies reading the posts today. That said, one name is markedly missing - Andee hasn’t posted since last Friday & no one has mentioned him. Do hope he’s ok as didn’t he have a problem with his lungs? And we’re missing his lovely jokes! Looking forward to a progressive increase in the share price. GLA
Calidus have tweeted a link to the West Australian write up about the latest drilling, and in particular the visible gold - https://thewest.com.au/business/public-companies/calidus-hits-visible-gold-in-warrawoona-drill-core-c-539666
Well StBrides said “ the presentation given by Russell will be uploaded onto the website on Wednesday“, which is tomorrow so hopefully an RNS to announce it, and also perhaps an update after the first Court appointment today re the Calidus share distribution ! Exciting!
New Calidus presentation too - https://www.investi.com.au/api/announcements/cai/0c564584-9dc.pdf

Tex, how far have you researched? Keras are about to distribute the ASX shares they hold in Calidus Resources which is just proving up some more gold ounces before its DFS next year & looking at mine construction starting Q4 2020. Buy Keras before 19th November & you should get 1 Calidus share for every 3.44 Keras shares you hold free of charge. Then, Keras have just got a licence to mine Manganese in Togo, with expansion anticipated to be funded by offtake agreement, and we’re all sitting patiently waiting for full details. Why not go along to investors’ meeting ( see recent RNS for details) & hear it from the top guns of both companies, who are both well invested here themselves.
Seems we’re carrying on the conversation whatever, so the price mogwhy has come up with is probably just going off to Chiina for metals, and China’s struggling at the moment. As oil pointed out, ours is best as silico manganese, what price then? Plus I believe someone said DR & RL were talking to battery producers, again, what price then? So, let’s not get carried away, either way - over optimism or gloom & doom should step aside pending clearer info on the way forward. GLA
As oil magnet said last week “ Don't see much sense in worrying about day to day prices of Mn DMTUs. The life of the mine is stated as 16 years (with room to expand). RNS's have stated that work is ongoing to agree off-take arrangements and that the product from the mine is best suited as SiMn - all I can find on that is 60-65% Mn minimum - so I don't know how we get to that from 38%. Prices (even with the current fall) are about $900/t which makes things look different but until we get the figures in B&W, I see little point in speculating. I still trust that DR's Mining qualifiactions means he knows more about these things than most of us ever will. As ever, good luck all and fingers crossed”
On talk of the manganese grade yesterday I looked back to the announcements we had on results. In January “ Highlights
· Mn grades ranged from 39.61% to 42.76% with an average of 41.15%
· The average Mn grade of 41.15% is 18% higher than the budgeted grade of 35%”
So higher than Jupiter, & it seems the higher grades prices are rising rather than falling. Sounds good to me.
Just looked this up again from the RNS announcing the Calidus share distribution - “ "Post the Demerger, Keras will be transitioning from explorer to producer and, subject to the grant of an exploitation permit, it is well positioned to become a cashflow positive mining company with the flexibility to consider the payment of dividends.” Dividends - definitely worth holding!
We’re gutted to be missing the meeting, especially as it’s a good venue for us to get to, but you won’t want us coughing & spluttering through it! Would have been good to put some faces to names & to meet Russell & Dave. As Marky says, maybe next time!
Prop - re value post demerger, I think HL are just spouting standard blurb (which is why they put about London trading, I guess someone was on autopilot). They can not dictate the share price. You say what they say is untrue, but why is it untrue? Because Keras share price does not reflect the value of the Calidus shares held by Keras, as we all know.
