Bonkers!
Your 2mill shows on HL, both your buys do.
Always playing games, I mean how can your buys not change the share price when you’ve paid over the stated share price?
Nothing makes sense, other than that KRS is of course a gem !
And well done on your top-up. Jealous here!

SBK - it does say in yesterday’s RNS that off take agreement will fund Togo - “The plant as currently configured is capable of producing some 75,000 tons per annum, which would result in a substantial profit for Keras. However, on receipt of the exploitation licence we would expect to expand and improve the plant to add more value as well as increasing production. We intend this to be financed in conjunction with an offtake agreement, and do not expect to require further equity funding.” So Togo progress shouldn’t have to raid the CAI pot!
I find the Australian tax situation a bit unclear too. They want to distribute shares they already own to the shareholders, not split up the tenements! Perhaps they have to be sure of their own tax situation from when the tenements went over to Calidus so they know how many shares they have to keep back to cover their costs?
We emailed Russell/Dave last month about the distribution. The reply included this “we are planning on distributing shares not cash as there is no cash per se to distribute! We are dealing with Australian and UK tax law and it is a very involved transaction to say the least to ensure shares are distributed in a tax efficient manner! ” So NO CASH! I’m sure many of us will be wanting to hold on to the Calidus shares as they’ll be worth REAL MONEY!
You beat me to it!

We all seem to have missed this Brandon Hill research from Feb 13th, just found on Keras site -

After the resource increase, “BHC believe this will give a mine life of at least 10 years. However, it must be remembered that all the known resources are open at depth, with the Klondyke and St George Shears also being open along strike in both directions. Then there are the undrilled targets and the parallel Highway Shear. All of this reinforces the BHC view that the eventual mine life will be much greater than 10 years and in time we anticipate that the resource will double from its existing 1.25M oz.” :-)
PC, ASX without a doubt. They can’t just list them on AIM without jumping through all the requisite hoops, unless Calidus want to dual list here as well as in Oz...
However it’s done I trust in management to ensure the process is well thought out.
Perhaps the KRS AGM will start to answer the questions, or be an opportunity to ask them of the management if anyone able to attend would volunteer to do so?
Hi PC. What I would say will be needed is for Keras to ask us shareholders what proportion of our allocation of the performance shares once they are distributed we will be looking to sell. That way Keras/Calidus should be able to line up a possibly major investor rather than relying on the market for the process. Alkane were keen to soak up the small shareholdings that Calidus’ spring cleaning made available at the start of the year. Or v possibly another investor would be keen for a slice of the action once the PFS is out. For something like that to happen there will have to be a cut-off qualifying date.
Calidus tweeted write up in The West Australian - https://thewest.com.au/business/public-companies/calidus-opens-new-front-in-hunt-for-more-pilbara-gold-ng-b881143167z
“With a stellar track record of identifying successful drill targets, Calidus could very quickly turbo charge its resource/reserve base as it opens up a number of new drilling fronts.”
Hi JimBL - & when you set sail from Portsmouth on HMS Hermes I was standing in one of our large greenhouses near the coast in West Sussex transplanting little celery seedlings. As the fleet got out in the Solent they fired their guns & the whole greenhouse shook around me! We followed the Falklands news avidly that summer, while we harvested the celery! Memories!
