Calidus Tweeted link to this article - https://resourcesrisingstars.com.au/news-article/rio-airstrip-more-drill-lines-fuel-talk-its-biggest-find-25-years. A few scrolls down the page after Rio comes CAI & the 1Moz club! Maybe helped that share price rise. Onwards & upwards!
I guess hitting a million ounce reserve is what will kick the CAI sp up. What I like most from the interview is Dave’s reason for people to invest in Calidus -“A lot of news flow is happening at the moment, with three rigs drilling and a resource upgrade due next year. We believe once we're over the million ounce mark we'll see a re-rating of the stock. We are doing an internal scoping study. It's showing really good results. By the time we get the prefeasibility study out to market, I think people will realize what a good deposit this is. That's such a very good reason to invest now.” GLA
Mick-b - but hopefully your patience will soon be rewarded - from the very end of the RNS - An update on the Company's dividend policy will be announced in the Q4 Operational and Financial update in January 2019

Yes, canaries! As Calidus’ Corporate Presentation from 20th September certainly highlights Calidus as a fresh, WELL CAPITALISED story in a Tier 1 jurisdiction I can only think this capital raise is for some new opportunity..? End of escrow period for Keras held CAI shares comes ever closer, gold price rising, progress in Togo - what’s not to like!
Haha - followed jr71’s link to the investor event & found Keras has since tweeted pics on good progress in Togo!
https://mobile.twitter.com/kerasplc?lang=en 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Andee.
Highlights -
DR’s ambition to create the mine, production by 2021.
Only looking at one year’s payback for building the mill (👍🏻) - at today’s gold price
Open at depth, drilled to 500m already
An orogenic system that will go very deep & they are confident there are lots of ounces to be found.

Keras Resources plc, the AIM listed mineral resource company, notes the update released by Calidus Resources Limited (ASX:CAI) ('Calidus') concerning the Company's recent drilling results from the Copenhagen Deposit, which forms part of the Company's Warrawoona Gold Project, located in the Pilbara of Western Australia. Calidus has announced that the Copenhagen Deposit has revealed additional shallow, thick high-grade gold mineralisation which extends a further 100m below the current resource. These results form part of a resource infill and extension programme which aims to expand the current resource to underpin a pre-feasibility study in 2019.
Keras is a significant shareholder of Calidus, with a current interest of 458m shares, representing approximately 35% of Calidus' total issued share capital. On successful completion of the Pre-Feasibility Study at Warrawoona, an additional 265m performance shares of Calidus ('Performance Shares') owned by Keras will be converted into ordinary shares of Calidus.

Thanks Pinecone !
But what exactly did you ask your financial advisor? Did you ask him as SBK wrote it “for those who want to continue holding on AIM” or have Dave said it - “Who don’t want to hold asx listed stock, who are used to holding aim listed stock”?
Have to say I took what Dave said much like jr71 wrote - “ a channel for those who don’t want to hold the in specie CAI shares to dispose of them to other investors”
Guess we shall have to wait as patiently for proper clarity on this as we wait for resource updates!

Question at end is about CAI shares held by KRS
For those who, like me, aren’t regular Twitter users, Shanta have some good pics plus a video of blasting & some of the team on theirs - https://mobile.twitter.com/shanta_gold?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Eembeddedtimeline%7Ctwterm%5Eprofile%3Ashanta_gold&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.shantagold.com%2F
.... & if you access it via Calidus twitter feed https://mobile.twitter.com/CalidusLtd the next tweet down is an interesting video about using more environmentally friendly LNG in trucks & machines in mining, which CAI say is priced into the Scoping Study. Excellent!
From the Annual Report in April - “The Company is going through a period of rapid deleveraging with US$16.4 million of debt repayments scheduled in 2018. Lower costs and the steady tapering of capital expenditure will help Shanta meet these obligations. As the Company’s financial position strengthens, the Board expects to be in a position to evaluate the timing of a dividend policy in the final quarter of 2018.” So I’m waiting patiently for their evaluation.....
