You’re very inept at share dealing my friend as usual here. If airlines are doing well so do RR. If Boeing post good results today RR will benefit from such news. You show you inept in EVERY post you make as you don’t understand how share dealing works. Have a good day and jog on.

Easy jet updated its profit guidance this morning which pushed them up over 7%. IAG got a lift with this news. Boeing results later today.

He’ll actually be close with his price as long as nothing changes before then. GE and Raytheon didn’t put great results in today but still did reasonable ok in the stock markets. Central banks are pretty quiet from now till the next round of interest rate hikes. Markets have priced in what they think those hikes will be in the UK, ECB and US so unless they move away from those assumptions then you’ll only get fluctuations on certain inflation data that comes which will be bought up. China is a done deal so there’s no going back opening up. Boeing might give some lift in the sector if they put in some good results tomorrow. Looks pretty positive at the moment. Traders love to move in with RR and IAG when things look positive.

American Airlines and wizz air report Thursday so airlines will get a good or bad day on the outcome of those results. Traders will be in on the run up days to step in for profits on speculation of good results. The same traders will sell once that profit is realised or it’s comes in as below expectations.

What you have to remember is the traders would have been back in for a second nibble once it dropped back to low 109p’s. Not unusual to get two bites in same share in one day if you watch the volumes.

Scrub that Raytheon cratered into the red from 7.45% up on opening. Sometimes you have to take profit when it’s there

GE and Raytheon results out, interesting reading. Will see how markets view later as you never can tell but pre-market currently red on both, not massively down tho so early in the day to get a full picture on markets reaction yet.

£2.50 won’t happen anytime soon that’s for sure, but let them dream. Run before walk springs to mind.

Price being driven by retail traders on similar sector results due today and tomorrow. GE, Raytheon then Boeing tomorrow. If those don’t meet expectations in similar areas that relate to RR then expect a pull back. Market expecting a mixed bag from GE today but we shall see what they actually post later this afternoon. Traders will wait to see what the US does before banking profits today.

Do your own research would be my advice. Momentum and trend in travel stocks is up so unless something changes to alter that it will continue its rise. Traders love to jump in and out when sentiment hovers around the stock :)

Utter rubbish! Wether you’re investing short or long term you’re putting money in for a short or long term investment gain. Most people who take the short term approach with some of their investment funds do so on good research to make those short term gains. Only the time scales change in either approach so anyone using the term gambler would apply to both approaches as most people cash out once they hit their target sell price.

Interesting over the weekend. Airlines bringing back further A380’s to cope with the demand for business and first class passengers in news. Was very busy when flying out last week in those areas. Got to be good for RR if those bigger planes come back quicker. China is unlikely to go back into lockdown either as it’s a done deal. Unless there’s a more dangerous variant that arises or a further escalation in Ukraine I can’t see anything but further rises in this sector. How quick those rises come is hard to estimate tho.
