You couldn’t really lose on the stock markets after the crash in 2020 as central banks had to print money like it had gone out of fashion. Once that stopped unless you invested wisely in certain companies you were going to take a big hit. Interest rates aren’t going down any where near what we’ve seen in last decade. The interest rates will cool eventually but don’t expect big drops as the world is a different place now to what it was then.

SMR won’t provide any revenue for years so I don’t buy any comments on that part of the business at present. GL

Markets is down today because the BOE governor was showing concern on the potential pay deals that will have to come in the public sector as they’re inflationary so he’ll have to go higher with interest rates rises to cool it back down. On the Ukraine front it was the talk of fast jets that spooked everyone and how Russia will escalate further in response. Dollar been rising a few days and bond market remains showing something else which is worse. Some investor s are looking for safe havens whilst the current risks calm. Not interested in buying RR until I see how the results bare out against the CEO’s comments as they weren’t great were they so I’m expecting the SP to fall back on the day much like Boeing, Raytheon and GE. GL

Same thoughts as me, not a good buy until all the bad news is priced in on the release of those results. CEO hasn’t help deter those thoughts when he’s spoke recently. GL

Unfortunately the bond market is signalling something else in America so I’d be cautious a “little longer.” Commodities is place to be at the moment as safe haven. There’s a few UK gas supplier results coming up in next few weeks at very attractive prices at this point in time given what they’re about to show from those high gas prices in results. Dividends to boot also :) Putin putting 300,000 forces to front line in next ten days so expect the unexpected. Depends on timescales to clear out some profit long or short term.

You’ve called a few out as this CW person which is of course is complete nonsense and smoke screen. Surprisingly all the ones you call out in this regard don’t ramp the share price at the moment. Keep promoting the fool, serious investors have figured him out. The uptick in the jobs report and lowest unemployment since 1969 didn’t help the markets figure out where central banks will end up this year in the US, hence the big pull back over the pond Friday. Central banks have more work to do especially in the UK, government may buckle under the weight of public opinion from strikers. A Putin escalation or Chinese game playing maybe. Have a lovely day, keep up the guessing game and don’t give up your day job in that regard. :)

“All” the suppliers have been told to stop just like British Gas, not just British Gas BUT add the word British to a headline news storey and it sells the space it’s placed in. Only a limited time till results announced so investors will need to be on board before then. Those buy backs will be banged in on this pull back while the share price remains cheap.

There’s no news I can see but i’!! give minvest benefit of the doubt on that one and the Dow is showing red today. Nasdaq is hardly flying on the economic news at present today . Delve a little deeper into what was said when interest rates rose yesterday in the US and there still some concerns. The UK government is losing the battle with a recession and public opinion on strike action so if they have to give in to pay rises, well those are inflationary so BOE will have more work to do. Escalation from Putin in February red flags me to be a little cautious in expecting the unexpected as he caught everyone out last year.

I sold myself, will wait to see the results before I invest here further. The CEO comments left me feeling there’s some poor results coming down the line this quarter. Can’t see he’d make those comments up on baseless facts, he obviously knows this is a ground up restoration with inherent problems to deal with now he’s delved behind the scenes. He’d look a fool if they put in great results or an expectations result based on those comments he’s made last week. Good look, I’ll look again after I see those results.

You’d have a few sleepless nights in this share waiting to sell out.

It will be 0.25% or 0.5% markets was at around 98% likely hood of 0.25%. 0.5% isn’t priced in.

If the US put in a 0.5% interest rate rise tomorrow instead of an expected 0.25% this could get a whole lots worse. Market has priced in 0.25%

CEO comments have dropped the share price nigh on 10% in 3 days. Pure and simple comments made by the CEO have caused this drop. If you think differently you’re not living in the real world. This is easy for big investors and funds etc to drop as his comments were a gift. Needs some confidence back in soon but I’m not sure where that comes in at the moment.

You can’t have those mixed messages coming via your workforce as you loose control of the original message you were trying to convey in the first place. The media can then cherry pick the headline BUT not if he’d used a more appropriate way to convey it so everyone see’s the whole rather than those parts cherry picked by the media. He lost control when his workforce became the media’s source.

I’ve read it all but there were still parts he didn’t need to say. What I’m saying is anyone thinking it’s a good look for the media writing front page headlines on second hand information being leaked via his workforce can’t be right. He lost control of the message, he could have conveyed that message better and kept control had he used a more appropriate avenue to release it was what I meant.
