Destroying shareholder value - and you still bought shares? I wish this was the bottom but I have a horrible horrible feeling we are in for more sickening lurches downwards. This may only be the beginning of another global collapse in markets.
I'm not so sure. I have held shell for many years but am very worried right now. We are seeing massive destruction in shareholder value not only with the collapse in the oil price but the disastrous bg takeover. I think the dividend is all but gone for 2017 if there is no recovery in the price of oil. This could take years to recover if ever.
This just needs an increase in the silver price. Unfortunately news everywhere is dire. Invested in this and glencore two of the worst performers on the market. It makes you wonder if there is a silver lining in this cloud, no pun intended!
Ignore that. the official close is 1366, however all the movement prices seem to be wrong and the ftse on the front page was saying down over 100 points earlier totally wrong. LSE sort it out!
I have missed this and others may have in the recent RNS.
There will be a special dividend of 17 pence per share paid to holders. At around the same time there will be a consolidation of 9 shares for every 10 currently held to try and consolidate the share price with such a large ex dividend drop. See RNS for all the key dates.
Quick question guys. Is this a normal share that can be bought and sold in an ISA or are there extra management fees to pay aside form your normal broker fees and dealing costs etc?
mine too lol! Biggest turds in my PF, GLEN, FRES, TSCO. I wish interest rates would go back to 5% and put the lot back into the sodding building society, I'm sick of it !
