Its been a long time since this started with a 2, i never thought it would happen again.

Right now, is this a delayed reaction from Carillions demise?

The title of that RNS made me laugh, I notice it was timed 2 minutes after the closing auction so as not to affect anything. iG and CMC up today and were still lagging probably from the huge rise last week. Lets not forget plus was at these levels in november before the last blockbuster RNS and I think this is fairly cheap right now.

It�s the closing auction (uncrossed trade) on a day of large volume a large UT size is not uncommon.

Strong rise today must be on the back of Plus 500 strong market update. I have a larger holding P500 than IG as I think it has better growth prospects and so far in the last year this has been correct. Only downsides with Plus are the dividend taxation, and the new leverage restrictions on CFD have not yet come into force. Anyway a decent start to 2018.

Maybe. I bought my shares back in the depths of despair around Jan and Feb 2016 at a price 1988p. Sat on huge paper gains right now. Only my opinion but I think it will push into the £40 range next year. lets hope i didn't just jinx it!

I haven't added any more shares as my last buy was in the 430p range. I would be happier with more buybacks and share price growth rather than dividend for two reasons, 1) Withholding tax on Israeli listed companies at 25% (yes I know you can fill out a lengthy tax form to get it reduced to 15%) but it is still a drawback. 2) Maybe for reasons in 1 my broker takes an eternity to pay the dividend. I have not had mine from November 23rd yet. The summer dividend took over 4 weeks to get credited after much chasing. Whilst it it did come in eventually it is annoying as all other shares are paid within 1 day usually.

Prothena down 8% today. No relief in sight.

These firms also make money on the buy sell spread and maintenance fees etc. If a trade goes against the company then they lose money money not the client, its a two way thing. I don’t feel sorry for anyone losing money spread betting any more than betting on horses, football or whatever. Nobody feels sorry for me when my shares go down.

ESMA put the boot in, every december something goes wrong

Over £7 for the first time this year. Has been a very strong recovery since last Decembers huge fall. Anyone filling their boots then would be sat on a very healthy profit.

Good luck. I won't be putting another penny into this garbage unless it starts showing some promise.

Complain to the financial ombudsman and they will look into it for you but you must wait 8 weeks from the date of your written complaint, if it has not been resolved by then.

Wrong. Shares should go down roughly by the amount of the dividend because the company is worth that much less per share. I think the div is 59.51p

Anyone got any ideas? the last results seemed very strong

Market not liking this at all. This has been a disastrous investment for me.
