With the ink barely dry on the Reynolds deal the FDA put the boot into tobacco stocks. Imperial has fared a bit better maybe because of less USA exposure.

Thanks. Looks like either my broker or barclays are trying to diddle me out of 200 quid. Not going to let this rest. Going forwards as great as this share is i may sell all shares before ex dividend and then buy them back cheaper. Dosen't always work out cheaper though.

Still waiting for my dividend is anybody else? They have told me Barclays have been slow in converting the payment. Not sure what to believe, I have never known dividend conversions take so long.

Still holding all my shares, but this has been in almost daily decline since April. BAT appears to be holding up better so I don't think it is a Tobacco related decline more on the fundamentals of the last results. Stronger £ is not helping either.

Not had mine yet. A while back i had forms from my broker to fill in about reclaiming some of the tax. They needed quite a bit of info to prove who you are, and for my holding not worth the effort.

Just had a load of forms in the post from my broker about reclaiming the Israeli withholding tax, It seem yo have to give quite a bit of info to their tax authorities. I think i will pass and take the hit for the amount of money i have at stake.

I can't see shell being £40 any time soon its not a growth company which is why the dividend yield is high and some say not sustainable at current poo let alone increase it.

I wish i had bought more shell with the money i used for Woodford patient capital trust, that's for sure! No income from it and decreasing capital value. I have never lost money on shell even though I have held through tough times it has bounced back and provided great dividends.

Not in fres anymore as took good profits at 1770p just after Trump was elected and it headed south. Bit too volatile for me with 10% swings easy in a day and having held for 3 years 95% of the time at a loss I am glad to be on the sidelines.

I don't day trade either as I have a job that takes up too much time but I bought RIO in 2 chunks back in Feb and March, up 62% so far. I generally trade on a 1- 2 year timescale or keep forever.
