Yes I have noticed. Also I notice they rounded me down to the nearest whole share. I bet everyone got rounded down so what happens to all those odd shares? I really don't see the point of the exercise.

Buying a house builder near the top of the market ? potential for higher interest rates could hurt them. Don't like the sound of it personally.

From what I have read it could be mid April before any client money is returned and after the administrators have taken their fees investors could only get 85 to 90 pence in the pound returned. I feel sorry for people who may have had huge sums invested with Beaufort.

Hi guys heads up my ISA was with Beaufort Securities until a few weeks ago but I moved due to the poor website. IG Group went ex dividend before the transfer completed so I tried to log in this morning to see if my old account was credited and they have gone under!! I wonder if my new provider will be credited with my divi? has anyone had experience of this? It's only �58 so am prepared to write it off if necessary but relieved I moved!

From what I can see the founders want to sell some shares at 11 pounds each. In total 6% of the shares. This may cause weakness in the price short term untill the sale is complete unless there are some big buyers lined up to take them at a discount to todays close.

Their results were received better than ours. Expect a gradual kicking for two weeks.

They have done this before a few years ago if memory serves me correctly. I am not a fan really as you end up with less shares and cash equivalent to the shares. If i then buy back the shares i have dealing costs etc. I do not think it is a scam just a way of reducing shares in circulation.

Yes but don't forget the withholding tax so in fact we only get 78p per share approx allowing for 1.39 USD/GBP rate at today's exchange. The default tax reduction is 25% although you can jump through hoops to get a 10% rebate by claiming to the Israeli tax authority.

Well this looks in a death spiral not good at all. I wish I had sold years ago, anything woodford picks is a disaster look at wpct. 7% yield is all well and good as long as the sp rises at least 7% pa or you are just paying yourself your own money. The current rate of decline is outpacing the market this should not happen to a tobacco stock. If the market regains 8% we will be lucky to get 4%.

Excuse my error of course it is part of the earnings, it is just the PE ratio quoted on this site give HSBC a PE of 135.2 ! if the dividend is added to the rest of the earnings 5.7p + 38.0p you get a more sensible PE of 17.6. Based on the figures on this site they maybe out of date slightly but it illustrates what i am saying.

I don’t think they include the dividend payout in the earnings. I noticed it with HSBC shares and when you do your own calculations you get a much more sensible answer

The summer div was 6 weeks late, but i will be changing anyway for that and other reasons

Fair play to you all that for 18 quid. Still your better off than me I still haven't been paid the initial dividend less tax yet after constant complaints to my broker I have pretty much given up hope getting it. The long delay is apparently due to the cheque clearing process involving foreign currency.

Yes you are quite correct i was just using rough figures. Typical questor if he says buy then sell without fail. He said sell plus500 years ago and look at them now.

I won’t be buying any right now the graphs look horrendous on nearly all timescales. This is the worst run since 07 -08 when it lost over 40% from its peak. Be careful.

Dosen�t look good at all. I have held for donkeys years and bought on the way up, i might dump the lot to save what little profit i have left, shame really as it has been a good stock over the years but every dog has his day

I also have JLIF although only bought in last year, these I have held for many years as a steady income and growth share. Sadly we are now at levels last seen in 2014 ! on the face of it with markets at all time highs this has been a poor choice.
