Not sure that constitutes sufficient service MCNol, as the Notice and proposed resolutions should be rns'd to all shareholders, not everyone would think to look elsewhere!

It states "the Notice of AGM...." MCNol, and correct me if I'm wrong, as this is off the top of my head, but I think you need 14 clear days for service, and there isn't 14 days now - just looked it up - (1)A general meeting of a private company (other than an adjourned meeting) must be called by notice of at least 14 days.

It's now less than a fortnight, and they haven't produce the notice and a form of proxy/instruction as far as I am aware.

I'm not asking for people to fall out over it, I'm just trying to temper things by saying don't get your hopes up it will be within 3 months as I can't find any evidence to suggest this is the case that was all.

Folio I object to that. I have it now from a Tanzanian source in the country who state there is nothing written as regarding a timeframe. If you are so adamant that I am wrong, you find one. I'm sick of people criticizing when they do nothing to provide any evidence to counter. I've gone out of my way to make enquiries because I spent the whole of yesterday trying to find an answer to timeframes after I read the article I saw on Sunday. Someone else said he had also had the same thought and was looking for an answer, so I am not alone. There is nothing set in stone as to a timeframe, and with all the hoops that need to be gone through, I'm not surprised in all honesty, but like most, I was working on the assumption of the three months, after all, I've been posting 'one day close' based on that, but in reality, although hopefully we are one day closer, there is nothing at all to say it will be within a 3 month timeframe, nothing, and it could take up to a year, and so Lorna is wrong to suggest otherwise, as the TG will do as they please, and in their own time. I hope it does come in the next fortnight, and I hope it's successful, as, of course, it's not nailed on that it will be, although that's why we all consider the evidence and hedge our bets. So find for me please where there is a timeframe stated in law, and I'll take notice of you, and if you can't, you're not worth my time of day.

MCNol, I'm invested and sitting in the red, quite a few are! I read on social media at the weekend, a story about a mining licence in Tanz taking a year to grant. If I can locate back on search history I'll try and find it, but that's what made me wonder what is the law about timeframes for grants of ML, as I hadn't actually seen anything to give a specific timeframe. There's nothing sinister in my motives, I'm genuinely invested, and genuinely concerned that whilst everyone is hanging on for the 3 months, it might not happen within 3 months, as there is no legal timeframe for the grant. I hope it comes in the next fortnight, but if there is no legal timeframe, then Lorna should not have suggested otherwise by giving an indication, she should have left it at the ML application has been submitted, and we await what we hope will be its approval. Instead, she's created a mindset of 3 months, and people might be left bitterly disappointed if that timeframe is missed. It does keep us on our toes though as who knows when it will appear!

I think Lorna needs to come out from hiding and explain WHY she stated 3 months or thereabouts if this is what she said in the vid as I haven't re-watched it, as her comments are rather misleading.

Just heard from Gerpat Solutions.

they also state "the law generally does not provide a fixed, universally applicable timeframe for the issuance of mining licences"

I've emailed gerpat solutions to see if they have any idea, as they appear to be the most helpful so far with procedures that I have found online! Let's hope for an answer which gives us a better idea.

"after around three months" has a different connotation, that essentially means at any point after 3 months!

How did we get to the 3 month timeframe for grant of ML? Did I find something because I can't remember? I read somewhere yesterday that the TG can take up to 12 months to grant an ML, and so I'm trying to find anything online that suggests otherwise and that it is definitely within a 3 month timeframe. Can anyone find anything please? I'm still looking. There's no timeframe stipulated in the RNS of 17 September. If anyone can locate evidence of the 3 month timeframe I would be grateful just to satisfy myself.
