The complete flaw in this argument is that the winding up order has already been withdrawn so Lunn's statement was not true

Can't see any information in the Dutch Auction RNS's regarding payment timescale. Would be surprised for private investors if your broker allowed the bid to go through if you didn't have sufficient cleared funds in your account to satisfy your request.

The funds could have been deposited and verified instantly - we're not in the era of waiting for cheques to clear for God's sake

Be interested to know the reason why they would do this transfer without your agreement. Is there some financial benefit to them? Otherwise why do it?
