Indeed! A mass of, increasingly timeframe compressed, news to come, over the next few months, and, quite frankly, I can't see anything, whatsoever, being anything less than positive!

Yup! Thanks! It'll be very interesting to see if we get any more 'accurate' indications from Newcrest in the update next week.

I do believe that we will, because they need to, at the very least, keep their shareholders advised of the future potential of Havieron, but, especially, if they've released more, 'up to date' information to Newmont in their due diligence.

Whatever way shareholders look at it, it has to be positive, IMHO, and absolutely nothing less!

As I've posted before, it's been nearly 13 months now since the last Greatland Gold Havieron Mineral Resource Update of the 3rd March 2022, which was was based on a drill cut-off date of 2nd December 2021. Yes, 2021!

That means we've subsequently had nearly 17 more months of drilling since that old cut-off date. That update increased the mineral resources to 5.5M oz Gold & 218kt Copper or 6.5M oz Gold Equivalent. By the time of the next update in August we'll have done around 21 months of additional drilling since that last cut-off date (with the updated MRE in August taking into account around 16-17 months of that).

IMHO, I'd expect, at the very least, 10-11M oz Gold Equivalent by the time of the next Havieron MRE update, expected in August. I'm assuming a drilling cut-off date of sometime in May for that update.

The Newcrest Mining March 2023 Quarterly Results are due in Oz next week, on Thursday, 27th April.

As Mining News stated a few weeks ago, "There's plenty of M&A action happening with Newcrest Mining and Newmont Corporation in talks for a mammoth gold deal...The market will also be hoping for more clarity on some of Newcrest's development projects, including Havieron in Western Australia, when it releases its quarterly results...."

Although I'm only really guessing here, because of the ongoing discussions with Newmont, and due diligence, which involve disclosure, it may well be that Newcrest will need to give more information on Havieron than 'normal' to shareholders too, under shareholder disclosure rules. Just my thoughts..

A very important point, and I agree 100%! This is the best strategy now, at this point in time, taken by the MD, as he sees best for shareholders. TBH, I don't understand why other investors think differently, and believe that Shaun Day should publish our own MRE update now.

I've no doubt that negotiations are now in play, maybe minimal, but probably increasing very soon.

What the BOD, and especially the MD, don't need, right now, are shareholders wanting to know the minutae of everything that's going on!

Either you trust the MD to get the best results for shareholders, or you don't, but, IMHO, please leave him to get on with it!

Thankfully, so far anyway, it sounds like no loss of life. The only comment I could find was, surprisingly in The Guardian this morning:

Another report states that 50mm or rain fell on Telfer.

I disagree on the manipulation MH01, which is clear to see, IMHO, but everyone to their own, but I agree with your other points.

The more I look at it, the more I believe that, when the obviuos rise comes, it'll be huge, and will probably catch a lot of people out, as it did before.

The growth catalysts are pretty much all due in the next few months, and increasingly being pushed into an increasingly short timeframe.

Whether it's the Feasibility Study, the MRE update, the Decision to Mine, the shorters squeeze, the...., it's all going to happen in a very short upcomng period now!

Add to that, maybe, some other action, either on another tenement (this ain't all about Havieron!) and/or M&A activity, and all bets could be off!

It's going to be a very interesting next few months, but what could anyone be, IMHO, apart from positive!

It's not as if Greatland Gold has even remained 'static' in this period! Pretty much every drill hole at Havieron has found more gold & copper, and it's still open at depth, and pretty much in all directions, too!

I still think that Havieron is heading towards being one of the biggest global gold/copper mother lodes for a generation, or more.

All I can say is keep the faith! This, frankly ridiculous, GGP SP, absolutely has to change north very soon, IMHO!

That said, I also still believe that many will be caught out when it does, and that then we'll hear the usual, "I wish I'd bought in earlier", comments.

I can see that this is your first post on the GGP forum firefly, so just wanted to clarify what my view is, and that is that it's not bad at all! Maybe, at the very worst, neutral, but, IMHO, much more likely positive, as we now have a very impressive team at Greatland Gold, who, I'm sure have every eventuallity well covered!
