If there was a placing coming 'in the next few weeks' (sorry, didn't you say 'next week' on Friday??!), then clearly the company would be in a closed period for any director dealings! What's more, with the ASX listing coming up, that would probably also require a closed period too!

In all the years I've posted on this forum, nearly all GGP, I've always avoided filtering anyone, and have never done so yet.

Why? Because your tirade against GGP, over some considerable time now, has been based on absolutely nothing fundamantal, or fact based, whatsoever. It's been based, IMHO, on nothing more than hearsay, and/or manipulation, added to by others.

There is no doubt that this forum was under a concerted 'de-ramping' 'attack' yesterday.

It was patently obvious for anyone that was viewing the threads at the time.

A whole load of posters, never seen on this forum before (and probably never again!), posting absolute nonsense, not backed up with any fact, whatsoever.

What's more, one poster, totally unknown here before, spouting such tripe, got 'Recommeded' 10 times within a few minutes of posting, no doubt in my mind anyway, by his/her other coordinated cohorts.

All I can say, is just beware!

Everyone can, of course, make their own observations & choices, but hopefully most investors that use this forum can see through this type of attack.

As I said yesterday, nothing has suddenly changed! The gold & copper is still there, and increasingly so, with just about every drill hole, and still open at depth and in most directions. It's definitely looking to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest gold/copper mother lodes, for a generation, or more.

Indeed MH01! There is clearly a concerted effort by several posters on the forum, especially over the past week or so, to spread fake news, and fake information & rumours about the company. They know who they are, of course, and those that choose to deal in fact, know who they are too. Their propagation of fakery, about the likes of, especially in the past couple of days, share placings and/or banking, are clearly made with an agenda.

Nothing has changed. The gold & copper at Havieron, which is clearly becoming one of, if not the biggest mother lodes, in a generation or more, is still there, and increasing every day!

Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) continue to increase in volume and value.

While gold companies continue to make up a large proportion of mining M&As, the driving force of inorganic growth in recent years has been the pursuit of critical minerals.

This has motivated deals from Tier 1 miners such as BHP, Rio Tinto and South32, while IGO recently boosted its nickel exposure by acquiring Western Areas.

The market saw a uranium merger in 2022, while coal has also been involved, with the Dartbrook mine in New South Wales the subject of a bidding war last year.

Kitco columnist David Erfle agrees that, despite the gold price outperforming the stock market since early Q4 2022, “mining stocks remain deeply discounted when compared to U.S. stocks as investors are under-invested in the precious metals complex.” Erfle suggests part of the problem is the lack of institutional investment, which “has yet to begin moving into the beaten down and left for dead precious metals space.” Still, he is bullish on gold stocks in 2023, stating that “With the sector now overbought, this is a good time to accumulate long-term holdings in quality juniors on weakness.”...

No, I don't see it that way, whatsoever, but, as always, only time will tell!

Indeed, that was Douglas Groh, with Sprott Asset Management, who. one would imagine, holding stock in Newmont, may well want it to be drawn out.

Personally, I see it in April, as did Shaun Day. The due diligence is likely to be well in place now, largely just updated, so, IMHO, I don't see any delay, in what's now inevitable.

Thankfully, if people hadn't noticed already, we have our very communicative MD, well up to speed, and ahead of the analysts/commentators, on why that might be (and thanks, yet again, to Dip, for his fantastic transcription of the town hall meeting, and all other forums!)...

This is the comment that impressed me, and another good insight into the direction in which Shaun Day is taking us, "Who we can now go and be counterparts with, and perhaps some of the brand names, or size of companies that we can now transact with, is transformationally different than 2 years ago., and THAT WAS BY DESIGN."

I'm sure that there are some people that would just prefer the status quo, and they're, of course, entitled to that view. We all have diferent investment strategies, which often change over our lives. Personally, it's where I want to go with GGP. I beieve it to be the best, and what better team now to do so!
