Just like a whole load of any mining company possibilities, taken with any potential positives & negatives, I personally prefer to take the medium line.

Earlier than June will, of course, be a positive for shareholders, but, let's be honest, even suggesting an earlier scenario, just gives the usual, de-ramping trolls, that we continually see here most days, more ammunition for their trolling, as if it's negative, and/or some form of conspiracy theory!

IMHO, I'm still expecting June, but earlier will be icing on the cake for the real shareholders, but poison for the usual trolls we see here every day!

Personally, I agree with the Sprott view, and have had the same for many months now.

There is no doubt in my mind, that we're heading into a global recession by early next year.

Yes, and that increasingly likely scenario, will indeed boost the POG to new highs too.

Thanks Bambs! That ties in with Shaun's view too, which I believe he's stated for some time now, but most recently on 'Sunday Roast', being hitting the ore body in June next year.

Greatland Gold said the main decline at the Havieron mine development in Paterson, WA, now exceeds 2,000 metres.

An update from partner Newcrest indicated shaft is now at 2,030 metres out of the 2,800 metres required to reach the base of the Permian cover.

Development is now approaching the lower and final aquifer that lies at the base of the Permian cover, the update added.

Greatland also noted that Newcrest’s takeover by mining giant Newmont has now been approved by the authorities involved.

"It looks forward to the opportunity to work constructively with Newmont to optimise the development of Havieron, finalise the feasibility study and progress to a decision to mine," Greatland added.

Havieron is a 30/70 joint venture between Greatland and Newcrest/Newmont.

What facts do you want tiggerman? Unlike you, there is absolutely no way I'd expect Shaun Day and the BOD to inform shareholders about every minutiae of what's happening in this takeover period. I don't particularly care what they're doing, but it will certainly be negotiations, with one, or several parties. You just don't do that in the commercial world, whilst informing shareholders of every part, or indeed any part of what's being negotiated. Once again I trust the MD & BOD to do the best for the company, and it's shareholders, under these very important & critical times for the company. I know that you appear to disagree with this, but I'll continue to beg to differ. Let's just leave it at that!

No. you're wrong, IMHO, because you appear to not understand, or appreciate what's happening, in fact, with the largest M&A activity in Australia this year, and what I believe to be the MD & BOD doing what's necessary at this time. Shaun Day has made it very clear that the MRE update will come in the December Quarter, although it will still need to be peer reviewed.

As for, "some of you seem to just enjoy ripping into those with different views to your own.", that really is the pot calling the kettle black!

Since we were around 6p just 'over a month ago', I'd hardly call it a collapse to 5.9P?

What a childish and ridiculaour thing to say. I bel;ievce that Shaun Day is doing the best for the company under the extremely challenging situation. To say that I'm "not a particularly interested sheareholder" is just ridiculous. Maybe I don't think that the whole company, and what it does, should revolve around my investment strategy?

If you're so concerned about the actions of Shaun Day, rather than continuing to repeat the same mantra, again & again, how about making a formal complaint to our Non-Executive Director, Elizabeth Gaines?

No, I don't, not if Shaun Day and the BOD believe that, under Australia's largest corporate deal of the year; 3rd largest involving an Australian company ever & one of the top global buyouts in 2023, it's better for the company to do otherwise.

So that would indicate, I believe, that with us exceeding a total development of 2,800M, we've now reached the base of Permian cover!

(This was indicated in the September Corporate Presentation, where it was stated:

"1,906m of the total 2,800m of decline development required to reach base of Permian cover completed")

Yet, we still have the same moaners, that just cannot see, or accept, that, Shaun Day, and the Greatland BOD, are involved in this! They continue to clearly not appreciate what this all involves for any company, let alone a relatively minor one, in the mix during this buyout!

The repetative, and continual bleating, about the likes of the latest Havieron MRE, IMHO, just shows a total lack of understanding about what's going on in the real world!

That said, I maintain 100% support for our MD & BOD, who/which could not be better at this time! TT

Absolute nonsense!

Even with the assay lab improvements, you need to factor in the initial on site core inspection and transit packaging, the transport to the assay lab, the transport back, and the analysis.

My personal view was that results could be expected mid/late September. It's my understanding that Shaun Day indicated a few weeks delay, for logistical reasons, when he last mentioned them.

Therefore, IMHO, I'd hope for a release by the end of this month, or early November.

I totally understand your frustration, but, apart from repeating the same thing, yet again, which I fail to understand, since you're just repeating it to the same audience, even more regularly now, exactly what grounds do you have for drill results being "suppressed"?
