Greatland Gold has released a development update for its Havieron copper-gold project in the Paterson province of Western Australia.

The project’s decline development has now exceeded 2030m, and its total development sits at 2824m.

There are 770m of development remaining before the decline reaches the base of the Permian cover and top of the Havieron orebody.

The decline is now approaching the lower confined aquifer, with about 280m of development remaining before it is intersected.

Havieron’s feasibility study is also continuing. It will incorporate the further hydrological drilling, data collection, and enhanced understanding of the lower confined aquifer (LCA) and water management requirements, as per Greatland Gold’s Havieron joint venture partner Newcrest’s request.

Other value enhancing workstreams will progress as part of the project’s feasibility study, which is expected to be completed by the September 2024 quarter....

No. why? We have a likely Havieron MRE update in the next 8-9 weeks. We have Scallywag and Paterson South assay results due imminently. Anything else was already months away.

As I posted yesterday, "Purely nothing more than a gut feeling, but, with all of the pending, increasingly compressed news/results, etc. on the horizon, IMHO we could finally be seeing a more sustained move north, rather than the yo-yo, up-down, that we've seen for so long now.

It's looking more and more likely that someone's been accumulating over the past few days, and the move up in the sp before today's RNS was, indeed, looking to be more of a sustained form. The RNS today, and resultant move south, was clearly helpful to them. It looks like the buying will continue, at this juncture anyway.

Even if the information was available, then surely the most important thing is to work out a solution first, with our J/V senior partner, and then advise the market?

Pretty much spot on summary by Cannacord. I guess that 'imminent', in mining terms for the updated MRE, which we're expecting in the next 9 weeks, or so, is also spot on! DYOR & GLA

I'm just amazed at just how quickly a whole load of new posters on here, names never seen before, or not for months, suddenly appear this morning, out of the blue!
