Excellent news today, finally glad to see the ARB being drilled after all this time and first strike on well 1. Munch, you did tell everyone this well would be a duster so it appears you are very wrong. Given the historic success and proven plays of CNPC Savannah have merely replicated with their first targets. As such to deem the well non commercial is a load of BS.

JTD the new government has been in place around 2 weeks or so, whilst progress may have been made prior it is upto those now in place to move this forward. Not exactly sure on your statement unless you propose that each and every potential offtaker in Bots and the wider S.A. region are suddenly not interested? Let the BOD work, only ones losing money will be those without patience imho but feel free to move on if this doesn’t fit your portfolio?

1750 forget the actions of others and what you perceive may or may not have happened. Whilst I agree the raise could have been done higher I think it was handled badly not necessarily at the fault of UOG. That said, it changes nothing about the company and it’s fundamentals and with all assets in place including commencement of 3D in Jamaica with costs all covered and likely additional acquisitions to come an opportunity has presented itself. Sometimes it’s best to concentrate on the points that matters and where you see the company going forward. Without question the current valuation for all assets is too low.

Madness to think many chasing other T&T producers being chased some at premium whilst this little gem sits here unnoticed at bargain basement prices. You can’t even fault Baay either, proven in his field. Also some bigger plays to look at down the line which haven’t even been started yet. We’ve done well to get here early ahead of the herd.

The company are working on multiple offtake opportunities including the original RFP. Given the sizeable gas reserves already booked and increasing and the huge acreage position owned at 100% it can literally take one piece of news to re-rate back beyond SP highs. Risk/reward here is second to none.

Trading at £55m and £32m respectively. The valuation of TXP should be closer toward TRIN but even mid case that’s around £44m. What’s the valuation here again!?!? Way undervalued.

The plan is to connect into the grid via a substation within Serowe some 50km away. As for the transmission lines, there are some maps online showing the phases of development. From memory the 400kv lines run either directly by Tlous claims between Morupole and Orapa (or just partially over them). Given the small footprint of transmission lines and also the small footprint of the CBM wells it won’t matter. The acreage position that Tlou have under license at 100% is a little over the entire size of Wales.

It has come through other avenues, it is likely wa bigger update will be made in the quarterly statement which is due soon. In summary, they are hard at work progressing multiple streams.

Message from IR has been shared today, relaying below; “As we know, contrary to what a few have been saying regarding lack of newsflow, there is a lot going on with Tlou at the moment. Whilst the company has done as much as they can to be transparent and to communicate their plans with regularity there are times when it would be inappropriate to do so despite activity. In Botswana Tlou continue to pursue their dual strategy within the country whilst at the same time continuing to look into opportunities to wheel power outside to the neighbouring power hungry states and some of the large consumers within (such as the mines). Dual strategy in Botswana involves continuing to engage with the ministry to supply power directly into the grid through BPC and a smaller power plant of around 5MW (pilot plant) whilst seeking to work with the ministry to reopen the tender but to have previous irrelevant criteria removed. High-level meetings in all relevant areas have taken place and will continue to do so. One must bear in mind that not only did a new President take power only very recently (April 1st) but that there is a new Energy Minister as well; taking into account public holidays barely a few days in office. Both are considered to be extremely progressive, pro-jobs and development and GG and team are lobbying as appropriate. Investors will really have to watch this space but the company are confident that they will have something firm to report with regards to internal off-takes and or the RFP position in the near future. Mining operations in neighbouring states have also been met and options discussed and also with the states themselves. Major investors such as African Alliance continue to be supportive and Tlou continue to engage a plethora or other external and internal development agencies, such as BDC, where their plans tick a lot of boxes for investment especially with some of the debt capital groups. Quarterly update due soon and company also has purchased its own core drilling rig which is currently in transit to Botswana. This will enable Tlou to embark upon a comprehensive core drilling programme across not only its Lesedi licences but Mamba as well with hope of significantly increasing reserves across the board. EIA for poles and wires also going very well too. In summary not idle by any means and quite confident that given a little more time that they will be awarded a PPA in good time and there are very much looking forward to this and all the optionality which getting into the grid will provide.”

Agree swan, JTD make your own decisions on your own investment and what works for you. The company are very accommodating why not contact them directly via mail or phone and relay your concerns I am sure they’d be able to update you (within reason) and anyone else. As swan said, updates have been given let them get on with it. Impatience is what loses people money, sat at these levels for a long time the difference now is the company has progressed so much more further and the gas in place has increased by circa 1000%. Any update on any form of offtake and true re-rating should occur from these silly levels imho.

JTD indeed I will feed that back also, an investor event would be good. Letting the company focus on current work streams for now would be my preference, as and when news is released and things move forward I am sure something could be put to them around this. I have no doubt they will be happy to engage, they do also run investor conference calls on occasion. I certainly wouldn’t think they are sitting around idle, quality bod with drive as has been proven historically. Nothing’s changed in that respect.

What I will say is what is perceived isn’t necessarily the case. The team will update when news is available that doesn’t mean they are running into issues, the government haven’t been in for long as it stands and as we know other opportunities are being reviewed. I have passed the comments on however to IR.
