Just had new broker targets today..increases but still not recommended as a buy..some very off things going on, from a value perspective it hands down looks a buy, maybe missing something

What I don't get about the broker price targets here ...on current free cashflow trajectory by the end of 2025 the MCAP will be lower than the cash on hand...so how exactly can they justify these stupid prices? I really am completely lost as to what is going on here with the valuation

M007j your comments in the feel value discount here are sound and I agree..this is spectacularly cheap now and can't last in the market at this price, will be taken out ASAP IMO

I think yes it's potentially scalable but I am very hesitant with companies that rely on EBITDA ATM, that worked in a zero interest environment, it doesn't so much now..it's probably worth a punt on take over potential given its use for another company that swallows the cost..but really not sure it's a standalone business

Not really, international ruling Vs Indian for cairn reaped rewards, they can't escape the contracts..I say file the suite and call the bluff then see what comes to the table

I think they will strong it out indefinitely, they would have reinstated by now otherwise...so if it's 2 or 3 years to wait file the papers now

The more you think about what the Iraq government has done here the crazier it becomes, clearly they could get this running tomorrow if they wanted to there is no physical restriction - just doing this to exert control over Kurdistan and all the fluff and delay is wearing thin. I would probably at this stage prefer arbitration

I do find it interesting that 888 has surged on the bid talk lately put playtech actually remains arguably more of a target and is significantly undervalued itself:

What value do they ascribe to the JV in their 100p quoted NAV figure...this SP is now reacting to stabilisation in property outlook IMO

I think that is good news for Future, stimulating demand always a positive. Given where this is priced on about 5 times fwd earnings, I would say shorts are about to get crumpled here

2% revenue growth is below inflation so actual real terms contraction in sales...not sure I agree with the headline ..strong trading for this one

Fidelity takes 5% stake, wonder who is selling, 10% of shares changed hands at institutional level..but reassuring to see the demand here at low prices

The sector is very interesting from a value investor perspective...I was in S4 capital but decided this dip in a Future sp was a better play for my ad sector exposure on the basis again that cash is king in this environment...S4 is unproven in terms of converting to bottom line profit whereas Future plc has a proven and pretty robust core cash generating model...I was very surprised at the drop off as excluding the CFO departure news...there was nothing the market didn't already know in my view..it rallied hard on the trading update that conveyed the same results as the full year release, so yeah, it really did stand out as a buy. Interesting to see Shore Capital also mention it has takeover potential too..all in all there are worse places to park cash awaiting market recovery in 2024 and beyond

The strongest point about this share is the very strong cash profit...all advertising and media stocks have been hit hard but not many with free cashflow as strong as here, I think if they can stabilise the revenue decline in US it's on a string enough footing to warrant a buy at this level, the P/E ratio is low and I am still working out if that is temporary or a sign of things to come but I feel this is one of the better opportunities in a strange market at the moment -100% upside possible

In my view, the question is, has the ad market bottomed yet..the first sector out of a dip is the ad market, I think this will only start going up once rate cuts start but everyone says that will happen next year..the risk of being short here is if S4 actually maintain guidance in Q4...if they do all indicators point to a turning tide..if they don't then the shorters get their payday
