The clock on Guyana in ticking I have my eyes firmly in the bugger prizes and won't accept nearly deals as good enough ...I know some think it harsh but this guy gets paid millions and has completely under delivered against his own claims and timeline. I hope he reads this board as he certainly didn't read his emails.

Satisfactory on the Africa Oil deal, but management straight in to scoop out a chunk of options with a frankly ridiculous exercise price of £0.17...doesn't really dispell the notion that Gil is just helping himself to the cash without producing sufficient results IMO

Tower resources have farmed out a Namibian license it was announced today. Honestly feels like everyone else can except Eco!

Guess it was to be expected that there could be some read across here, but it doesn't impact Guyana and if anything makes orange basin more attractive

Re: Venus not that I'm aware. A book write down says on current economics no but there is wiggle room if Namibia government relaxed terms..gas would be useful and they have to be thinking better to have it than nothing, over to them

I'd read indicators of this recently, apparently the infrastructure needed to process gas makes it pricey and longer term. They were looking for concessions from government to improve fin metrics of dev so could be a negotiation tactic. Orange basin is the main draw..Walvis much less proven so perhaps Block 1 gets farmed out before Namibia.. Chevron still farmed into Namibia recently.

Exciting times indeed with Guyana showing a lot of promise now.

Two questions for the board:

1) are we at risk of losing our tights if we don't drill this year

2) are tullow still entitled to some unionisation if it did get agreed?

The fiscal terms on Eco's block are far superior to this recent round so if no farm in we know that the majors think it's got poor quality prospects. I really do think it's odd that we had no news for so long now

I'm more interested in the likelihood than the value currently..how certain are we that we have a claim

When asked about it Gil has said it's rightfully Exxon's discovery..but surely it's part of discussions we are not privy to? The communication has dried up the last 6+ months so I really think we are due some kind of progress update soon

I'm unionisation was an issue would that need to be resolved before FDP or would ECO have to petition government and Exxon after it's been finalised and submitted. We are in the dark basically
