Well Robina made a comment a few weeks and I cannot make sense of the accuracy of the prediction. S(he) said that the share price would rise going into dividend payment date because of automatic dividend reinvestment. Given that many reinvestments / allocations are delayed this seems to be the case as I can see no other catalyst for the rise of the last few days. The next prediction Robina made was that the share price will now fall. I'm trying to make logical sense of this. Any comments?

Has anyone here looked at DGOC with yield of 10.6%?. I have LGEN and IMB. Great to get SP growth recently with LGEN as well as divi. I'm considering adding DGOC.

Yes I topped up for only 1000 shares. May go for more in another account. I can't understand anyone selling these at 3.00 after the RNS today; they will surely move up significantly coming up to results 26 Apr. Maybe day- or short term traders selling - makes no sense otherwise.

Interesting. I used an online site to plot correlation between steel CYNTT price per ten tons and Evraz. Then I used the same for BP.L and the trend was comparable. Now I'm wondering if Evraz and other commodity stocks from diverse sectors follow a similar trend. Of course they do. So we should be looking at China, the main engine that drives demand for commodities. Perhaps I should have compared the Evraz graph with the Hang Seng index? Anyway I have a China ETF and am long on Evraz.

But Robina the next ex dividend date is not until mid May. I do see the sense though of a rise in price on the payment date as per your second sentence.

Robina, what's your rationale for think it will rise up to div pay date? I'm in here for a year or so, paid 15.80.

Viable, you are obviously very close to what is happening on site and have a good practical insight into how ore can be extracted. At the opposite end of the spectrum are people who are willing to get in here at 2.5p stg and get out at 5p based on news-flow / speculation. These latter people don't give a f*** whether they have running water onsite or not. You say that Castillo should do "ok". I value your opinion - just bought in today. Anything else you can reveal about your strategy. Huge respect for your detailed knowledge of the area.

Well despite the notes of caution, I just bought in at .2464. I would not call it a strong conviction buy but I think it should have very good upside from this price.

I'm close to buying here. Also in ARCM which has done great for me. I think news flow or expected news flow is key to SP gains in mining sector. Hadn't heard of SOLG. Must have a look. Any other strong copper plays?

I personally don't buy most of those reasons, QZqz. Good data today from China, oil price at 12 m high. The ex div date could be a factor alright but that should have hit on Thurs / Fri last. Just seems to be generally unloved at the moment! Also news stream is non-existent. It is after all a Russian company and perhaps a bit of FTSE snobbery amongst analysts.

Anyone got any compelling reasons why this is a good investment? And before you all scream 'DYOR', this is part of my research! Looking at the charts, seems like a good entry price.

So with oil in the mid 60's, Q1 results should be good. Does anyone have opinion on whether the move to Renewables will negatively influence results. For example, just reading the Bloomberg article:

Brilliant this has been re-listed and trading again! I had written it out of my portfolio. My big problem is that I did not see what was happening since the RNS this afternoon and I will be lucky to be able to buy shares tomorrow. I do not ramp - ever. I am genuinely buying more tomorrow at open. No brainer IMO.

Hi volcano; I was wondering what piece of information or news you were referring to there. I know Phoenix has pointed out just there you are wrong, but you obviously saw some news and misunderstood....my question is - what was that news item? My finger is nervous over the sell button here as I am up 80% or so. I'm looking for reasons to hold...it's due for a pullback prob tomorrow.

I've taken the sensible precaution of writing this one off in my portfolio. I don't see how anyone can 'deramp' a share that is in suspension. If it is re-listed, the 'de-ramp' comment is rendered null and void and becomes irrelevant.

I have a lot of investment experience and one of the things I always look at is fundamental value; i.e. to what extent is the price of an asset based on perception and to what extent on real earnings. This is available to see in the Price to Earnings ratio (P/E). So I know Amazon has a high P/E ratio of around 80 times earnings and therefore the perceived value is much higher than say, Lloyds or BP. So value is a perception. I cannot see any fundamental value in this stock; seems to me there is a new Gamestop frenzy afoot. However I'll hold on to the remainder having sold half my holding. I have made my money back already. I would advise people to be careful and take profits if they are significant for you. Leave the remainder for a longer period as it would not surprise me if Bitcoin doubled from here. At some point it will crash and burn before another mania takes hold. The value of a thing is what humans assign to it at a point in time. So take my profit and my original investment out and forget about the remainder. You won't see me here for a good while.

Where do you access steel prices? Tempted to sell as I'm 70% up since last purchase but something is telling me to hold.

I don't like Coinbase software and security interactions so bought in here at 98p last Thursday. What timing! I don't think that the Tesla buy is significant in itself. It may be viewed historically as a tipping point; when more mainstream institutions began to buy in. Recognition by Paypal for example is huge. Beginning to look like the currency of the future. Any private investor who does not own bitcoin or related securities as a small percentage of portfolio is crazy in my humble opinion. Anyone who thinks they are too late - I bought BC through Coinbase in Dec. 2017 and it took 3 years to see it go back to my original investment value. I have very little knowledge of this company except that it mines bitcoin and is the only proxy for bitcoin I can find.....unless anyone has other suggestions?

wasarunner I find your posts here and on HZM board interesting. I have to say the size of the sums you invest in these scare me! I have about 5 to 10% of my pension fund in AIM listed stocks. I'm in EUA HZM, ARCM, ROCK and SYME. Tried to buy ARB with one broker today and they do "not deal in any Cryptocurrency related stocks"....I will try another one tomorrow but I'm not opening another account. I'm older than you (60) but I remember getting burned badly as well as winning on AIM 20 years ago. As you say, "luck" is an important factor - but luck runs in two directions. I deffo need more exposure to Crypto for the long term. I have relatively small holdings with Coinbase but I prefer the stock market. Is ARB the only UK listed crypto-related share?
