Great one Bermuda, a poster on Telegram recently referenced a study last year relating to brain cancer and it is pretty much what you are referring to.

From the RNS - “Liquid biopsy from peripheral blood is a particularly attractive solution in brain cancer because of the difficulty, medical complications and cost associated with taking a tissue biopsy from the brain. The characterisation of metastatic tumour cells can be crucial in helping to inform personalised treatment decisions, but, because of the serious risks involved, most patients with brain metastasis will never undergo a tissue biopsy unless undergoing surgical tumour resection……….

This study further confirms the utility of the Parsortix system for the isolation and characterisation of CTCs in brain metastases and that a Parsortix-based blood test may provide additional medical information to inform treatment decisions that could otherwise only be obtained by a highly invasive tissue biopsy of the patient's brain.”

Hi Moab, AGL did RNS the Ovarian Study results on the 29th September (Results day).

I don’t know why they left it so long after the event to put it on Twitter. They rarely “twatter” news promptly.

I think we will probably get an RNS next week regarding this research paper, which was published on the 26th October. It was sponsored by AGL and “the data generated from this study was used to support FDA clearance for the Parsortix System.”

It may not impact the SP much, but interesting nonetheless. I wonder if we will see a mention of Abbott - it was their PathVysion HER-2 FISH Probe kit that was used in the study.

IMO, AN did set out a clear plan and milestones at the recent results presentation. It may be worth having a read of the presentation slides.

Apologies Flatlander if I haven’t understood the question properly. AN has stressed before that Parsortix can complement different types of liquid biopsy analysis. The below, for example, is a quote from AN in reply to a question asked by one of the analysts at the recent results presentation.

“There’s lots of different downstream techniques. So the methodology that we used for the Ovarian cancer is an in house proprietary molecular platform where we have got patents across the world. We are however very, very keen to use industry standard downstream techniques. So, for example, Illumina is extremely well established sequencing platforms, we can run our Parsortix sample on the Illumina easily. It's much easier to get adoption and obviously Illumina make all the money from the Illumina side, but we've made the money from the Parsortix side. So that's the that's the way we think about it. We don't we don't need to own everything…..”

No, sorry Phantom I don’t, it was a screenshot shot which I can’t repost. There are a couple of posters on the Telegram group who have access to this type of information and very helpfully share it. It doesn’t seem to be available to PI’s and I can find no reference to it on Google. I think it is only open to II’s.
