Ophidian is certainly very “esteemed” in his own opinion. He is knowledgeable, it’s just a shame that he can also be pompous, patronising, rude & petty.

CJ, I have no problem with Wyn’s posts. I don’t always agree with them but it can get very rampy on here and Wyn & Thorn etc provide some balance. I don’t recall them resorting to abuse on here unlike some posters. Terry The T**T is in a different league.

The invited audience could also be partly down to simple logistics and practicalities. If you have limited space etc then you have to narrow down your guest list and prioritise. For example, how many sausage rolls do you buy for the buffet? That is said in jest by the way, but they probably do need to tightly control numbers.

Likewise with doing a livestream? It may be that it is simply more practical to do edited highlights and easier for a wider audience to watch.

For the record Ben, you were polite & measured in what you posted and I thought good on you. Ophidian behaved like a rude, petulant spoilt brat with a streak of vindictiveness in getting members thrown out for absolutely no reason. It was not a good day for the board.

Ben I am a member of the Telegram board and Ophidian was bang out of order today and also with gje306. Ophidian is petty, pompous and patronising. He was unnecessarily obnoxious.

I respect his knowledge but not him, especially after today’s hissy fit.

To the knowledge of people on Telegram there hasn’t been an announcement yet if there will be a webinar to go with the slides.

It’s looking a lot more promising - signs that comms have been switched back on again and RH is also replying to emails.

To be fair Gr33, Ophidian has been a lot more consistent than that. I don’t have the expertise for in-depth chart analysis, and I would never use them in isolation, but they have proved to me that they can be useful.

A certain well know poster has called it spot on with his charts analysis. I don’t pretend to understand it all, but he has been remarkably accurate.

I think you are right Jam2morrow when you say you think the “trend reversal over past few days may be down to folks buying into the...... no news = buyout/big player deal...,theory”. I can’t think why there would be any other reason for the complete silence from the board. I bought a few more yesterday for that reason, plus I re-listened to some old presentations and it reminded me how good the long term prospects are.

If they are planning a fund raise then surely they would have tried to boost the SP beforehand?

There is also some really exciting long term potential for expanding into additional applications. RH has previously mentioned cardiology, and Tim’s tweet from yesterday shows a possible link to neurology.

I have previously heard RH talk about potential opportunities in cardiology. From the Half Year Report we know the company “have begun clinical trial preparation for the study most likely to be required for approval of future high-value gas exchange indications to expand the clinical applications of our technology.” It will be very interesting to eventually hear what this entails and which area/areas POLX are looking at.

Shpunken, I have to say I agree with Tomorrowtoday. The silence from the board, with not a single interview to celebrate & promote their FDA approval, is to me inexplicable.
I am a LTH but patience is wearing thin. I haven’t expected instant orders, these things take time, but no communication whatsoever from the company is poor. Not including today’s decline we are nearly 27% down YTD and it’s still only January.

Agreed ES, the title of the RNS “ Avacta to Host Therapeutics Division Science Day” and the content of it seems totally clear that is all about the Therapeutics side.

You know Wyn trades, he is very transparent about it. I hardly think his comments are going to unduly affect the market in either SP direction. You also react to his comments giving them more attention than than they warrant.

For goodness sake how unbelievably pathetic trying to equate Wyn’s comment as “form of common assault”

This is from the person who has routinely ridiculed Wyn with sealion comments and YouTube videos etc for voicing a different opinion to your own. Unbelievable.

Wetdream, it’s a valid point when you post, in relation to the suggestion of foul play that “The Board undoubtedly hold many multiples of your own holding so would be damaging their own positions and those of even larger holders like Amati.”

But it’s still beginning to really p**s me off the lack of comms from the company and in a total news void speculation, uncertainty and concern continue to grow.

And in response to Tomorrowtoday, I have also emailed IR/RH (twice) and reading the boards it would appear others have too. I have had one standard response from IR completely avoiding the questions I raised and no response to my second email.
