Chazzy, I agree with some of what you say. But I am not convinced PrimaryBid is the best forum if AN, as he has previously stated, is “looking for long-term investors, not jam tomorrow traders.” I think PrimaryBid will have been used by a lot of traders who will not intend holding their shares for long.

It would be good to try and read this board without it being clogged up with unnecessary, vindictive bullying. What has your post got to do with AVCT? Nothing.
For the record, if Mr Ripley’s posts get deleted on this thread, then it was me who reported them.

I hope Mr Ripley that no one from the AVCT BOD takes the time the to read this board as some of the posts are embarrassingly petty, immature and unpleasant.

I am still doing my DD. But seriously guys, as someone new looking at this board, I see some well reasoned posts but the vitriol and bickering is terrible.
It won’t influence my decision making but it’s not a good look.

Hi Unhooked, I watched a portfolio video update from Amati dated 9th June & I confirm they have definitely exited RENX in the TB Amati UK Smaller Companies fund.
Not sure about the situation in their VCT.

Agreed Zendog & Gawdhelpus that AGL’s PR is poor. I wonder how long today’s RNS will take to appear on their Twitter page.

The significant RNS, for example, dated 20th May announcing that Prostate Cancer were funding a new study using Parsortix wasn’t tweeted until the 21st June.

So in answer to your questions - yes to 30p if you include the spin outs. Yes to Mo & JS buying shares because I think they will finally have run out of excuses.
And no to IG allocating POLB shares, sorry I think you will still be waiting :)

Nothing disingenuous about the SP. It stinks.

It’s 95% down since I first bought in (and sold at a big loss) and over 76% since I bought back in December 2021. Not a big investment second time round but I mistakenly thought we had turned a corner.

I know I won’t recoup my losses. Someone may make some money out of NFX but I don’t think it will be it’s shareholders.

You could be right Ricky, but I have sold a third of my shares today at a significant loss. I should never have believed CF’s hype.
I have kept two thirds of my shares as I believe ORPH is a good business. I just think that the sector as a whole is out of favour and the SP will continue to drift. I’m not trying to deramp, the funds I have raised will go into AGL.

Totally understand the disappointment and bitterness about the delayed spin outs. CF has let us down badly.
ORPH seems in capable hands with Mo. But I am reviewing my investment. I have added and added again partly because I believed CF and what he said about the spin outs and, with the exception of POLB, they never materialised. Oh well….

It stinks. I have lost over £22k on this share and Riddell leaves without working any notice with the SP at new lows. Brilliant!

Crystallised a big loss when Anne left but still have a small holding. Bad luck everyone. And agree Soup an updated broker note or investor presentation would be good and at least show the BOD value their very long suffering shareholders.
