I think they could be talking about expansion into the US or Far East (APAC region). That would make sense as that's potentially their greatest market. In respect of the former, it may even coincide with a US listing.

I have zero evidence for this, but it would make sense. We are a £100M company operating out of a modest building in east London and whilst we are gaining traction, our clients (and markets) are not based here.

So, they have "plans for the £31M", but "no" to acquisitions and nothing clear on dividends or share buy back, so is it further expansion and to where?

I think the problem with that is the potential conflict of interest. If a big pharma were to acquire HVO, how would they be able to maintain the independence in the marketplace. Would another pharma company be happy to use the services of their competition. I agree an institutional backed MBO may be the way forward.

Do we know whether SGS are now a competitor? I believe that they do challenge trials also.

I know that Mo said we were now a mature company that does not need to advise the market every time there is a contract win (or other significant event), but surely there is a balance. How on earth are we expected to get on anyone's radar?

Some may prefer a steady stock that increases by 10% a year in line with the company's growth (results), but I for one prefer a little more risk/reward with my investments.

The slightly confusing bit (but I don’t believe can be true) is the article suggests that these people will not be housed in a facility and will be able to carry on their normal lives.

I’m sure we used to get RNS’s about attending conventions, we don’t even get those now (not that I mind), but that suggests they are not reporting anything unless it’s material to the price.

Some were saying on here that the company will no longer be providing RNS’s unless the news is significant.

I personally don’t see how that helps anyone. I would want to be sharing success if I were on the board, particularly as they have indicated they looking for institutional investment. Every RNS is an opportunity to get the name out there!

Hi Hallsworthy - You are of course correct. I realised that after I posted it. The common denominator was CF.

If we don't get anything 'encouraging' next week, I think I will bail out. Its been a great journey and I now know lots of things I didn't before I inherited these shares via Fastnet Oil and Gas.

Odd though that none of the £300k of weighted business has landed and we haven't had a contract win for 4 months. I understand that nothing under £1M needs to be reported, but I was thinking a 33% conversion would have been about right.

Almost 4 months since the last contract win!

Mo indicated at the last presentation that they were trying to attract Institutional Investors. The lack of news will hardly help with that objective.

Magoo - yes eerily quiet. Last contract win (over £1m) was 6th Feb (3.5 months ago) and no real substantive news since. If there were an acquisition underway, I would still have expected a continuation of newsflow.

What is slightly odd is that the share price has been relatively flat for some time. This would suggest to me that there is no sentiment either way and really no one knows!?

It was 2 years ago that CF told us that the company would be worth £1B and that he was going to sell the ‘know-how’ to the Chinese for £50M.

The share price broke through the 40p barrier the next day.

I wonder how many of us are still hanging on trying to recover our losses. My average is 19.5p now and whilst I had a good holding prior to this ‘wild talk’, I did top up in the 30’s.

Who else would be willing to share their average, whilst we kick our heals?
