I would be more inclined to look at their official forecasts, where they predict revenue of £100m by 2028. I believe they have a £70m (ish) weighted order book just now. ‘Rapidly’ is a subjective word.

this is a steady as you go business. they are increasing margin, making money (cash in bank), but it’s not a 2, 3 or 10 bagger. i am happy with my holding - £20k at 19p. that said, if they use the ****nal they have to buy an excellent multi-growth prospect, then we may all be happy. until then, your investment may give you 10% in line with earnings forecast. not happy? sell out.

I happen to know that Amryt met with Amgen over a possible alliance some time before they were acquired. Nice to see Polb and Amgen sharing a platform. Watch this space?

I have a slightly different view. HVO have made it clear that they are on the acquisition trail. This would have made it very hard for CF to exit as he would almost certainly always be in possession of price sensitive information. I suspect therefore that he saw this as an available window to get his money out.

Looking at his history and his style of investing, he's never been one to hold positions for a significant amount of time; not least because his investments are usually quite high risk. He has been very clear that his interests are now elsewhere.

Then this - reminding everyone that the main investor in TLY is the founder of an II (which presumably then gives him credibility):

Yes, lets get the debate back. The board has been somewhat ruined by one individual.

On your two points..

1. I have been lucky enough to sell three businesses in my time. The first and last were in the field of taxation and both did really well following the sale and during my period of earn out. I didn't have a crystal ball either, but it wouldn't have changed my decision as I had other priorities. I am also very much a 'chips in' man having watched a man in Vegas build an enormous fortune on a blackjack table and then lose the lot in one evening.

2. I have not read the full article, but I would say CF has form for this. When at Fastnet he announced that the business was changing direction (into pharmaceuticals/medical devices) just prior to an investment presentation on oil and gas developments. That said, if it is an accurate statement and to be taken literally, a seller (as with a buyer) will always try to justify their actions. I am not looking for it to double anyway, but a steady rise over the next few years would be great none the less.

The fact that the share price has held up despite CF's offload, is staggering testament to the durability of this stock.

The shares were mopped up in their entirety and demand still remains in the market.

It would appear that there is an article in the Times today about Poolbeg going on the acquisition trail. I am not a subscriber so cant read it, but can someone put the article up if they have it.

What is wrong with stating that their revenue forecasts are being met in large part, or are you implying that they are lying?

The short term cash position is irrelevant if they:

1. Finalize a partnership deal and/or

2. Monetize their existing assets (as stated in their last investor presentation)

Both of which are very possible near term.

Is it not simply, order book of 'over' £80M of 31/12/2023 less RNS's since that date?

Whilst we cannot realize total revenue from an RNS until the work has been completed, or the final invoice has been paid, is it not the case that both ways are equally unprecise (albeit useful)?

Or am I missing something?

I think it may be higher, but only because I would have expected some milestone payments to have been paid since fy2023.

That said, I don't really care as I'm 32.07% up on this share according to my share dealing account. In fact, its by far the best performer in my portfolio as I suspect it has been for many others on this board.

This is creeping back up nicely on reasonably small volumes - I'm hopeful that the price will align itself with the various broker forecasts (mid to late 30s).

Maybe they have an acquisition in mind and need to preserve cash.
