The only fields that get gas attributed to them are ones that ICOP documents on company website indicate that gas is taken offsite for sale or use elsewhere. These platforms also use gas for fuel so I appply a bit of shrinkage on the gas page. When I add the oil and gas together to get total boepd I apply another layer of shrinkage to take the resulting data down so month or period is as close as possible across the board to Enquest produced boepd figures. I can shrink boepd by platform or by region (CNS,NNS etc). I guess this layer of shrinkage is primarily for oil used as fuel or GKB's barrels overboard (oops). Magnus is actually the only platform to get hit twice at this stage as there was a platform boepd figure released for Dec 18. 21528 boepd for those interested and I get to within 100 barrels of that before it starts to skew results elsewhere (either NNS or Company totals). So I guess I am a bit harsh on Magnus but I'm happy with how it is working currently so can't bring myself to adapt it just so I can imagine all your oiled up lycra clad virtual bodies gyrating with smiley faces.

Talking my language but take out the fuel and and factor the gas at gas price if you are doing fcf stuff. All being well high end earnings and it all makes sense at last. Body parts remaining crossed.

I think it is Gas. I think GKB is reporting bopd totals. The company report and forecast mainly in boepd. I think Magnus for 8 months this year has averaged about 4000 gas boepd as saleable product as well as minor input from Kraken and a few CNS fields. All based on assumptions but this should be factored into any income prediction at a gas based price. Never seen a model doing that here. I don't have the wherewithal to do that myself. I wish I was clevererer and appreciate those that do put numbers out there. Some oil, some gas being used for fuel and that is also assumed in my "shrinkage".

Bring on the 21st. If tanker frequency tells a tale then this should get exciting. Can you repurchase a kidney?

I have Jan-Aug boepd average at 64859. Graphing attached. Normal disclaimers but gas field by field now so better I think with only Magnus really making any serious input.

GKB, I'm 53351 for oil from OGA. So up on my original (spotted a typo) but now up on you. I've checked twice so apologies if an error still on board. Not been a % ownership change has there? What's a couple of hundred barrels of oil a day between friends? I don't like having to use the site for data. Much prefer the spreadsheet.

A bit late to the party on this one. I have found the ICOPs on the Enquest website that give more detail on platform gas usage. Wish I had seen them earlier. I now have gas modelled per platform rather than per field and have again tried to find a gas and shrinkage ratio that takes OGA figures close to company reported figures. I think I have found a zone. Predicting end of 2019 on a 4 month moving average from July I come out with 63,800 boepd. As said before this has any downsides / upsides of last 4 months influencing it and doesn't factor any increased production due to new wells etc. So a low figure based on company predicted year range but take out bad Magnus in May and naughty Kraken in July as negatives , even with Thistle outage I would be looking upper range 70k boepd with hope for new production pushing that higher.

Furryboots kind of has his fingers on my pulse. I'm sort of o.k. with people trying to make money out of positivity. To make money out of negativity, in particular betting against something that has an inherent value which you hope decreases is fundamentally different. It's allowed but to shout and scream on a public forum is self serving, ill thought and inhumane. You are wishing a worse lot on someone or something. That is inconsiderate at best, spiteful as a mid range forecast and hateful at worst.

Why I am bothering spouting altruisms on an investment website? I'm not entirely sure but I fear for humanity where some of you are concerned. And then I found the filter button!!!

Anyhow, I chatted to my ex NS OIM Neighbour this evening and he didn't know Thistle personally but was banging on about steel jackets, concrete jackets and subsea structures involved in platform stabilisation. It's all complex stuff and thanks in particular to those with real experience who are happy to share it. Much more valuable than some twat in his first suit thinking he is the big one at Canary Wharf or similar.
