Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
The new partner, E P C Solar look pretty impressive, their website is worth a look.
Things seem to be falling into place nicely, roll 9n the re-rate.
By combining Solar with CBM it has the potential to increase plant efficiency plus minimise the problem of Solar power’s variability, at night or when solar intensity is low the cbm output can be increased allowing the combination to operate on a 24 hours per day on an uninterrupted basis.
Lots of stuff on the internet if you google Solar Powet/ CBM combination.
The interim PPA was agreed and undergoing final regulatory formalities as per the RNS of 3rd April.
They also said that they remain in discussions with potential project finance partners who have been waiting to see the interim PPA in place.
It may be that the final signature has been delayed due to the Coronavirus lockdown and as soon as the PPA is signed then the finance can be unlocked..
I just hope that this comes together in the very near future and we can get moving with the poles and wires and also get more pod’s started to assist the dewatering.
I still feel confident that this will fall into place soon.
Thanks for the rec on the Victoria Coren book, a great read I really enjoyed it.
Have you read-
Bringing Down the House - B3n Mezrich and
Amarillo Slim in a World Full of Fat People.
Both great reads.

Elbarracuda,
Re your post on Ckt board, I am also a holder in Ckt and Eckoh and have been in Eckoh since they were 6 p.
I shall have a good look at Tide and get back to you, they look interesting.
At a glance, a big shareholder seems to be selling down, any idea why.
The share price is the same as it was five years ago.
In the last full year published accounts turnover has gone from 1.21 mil to 2.4 mil in 5 years.
They do seem to have picked up a few contracts of late and had a decent trading update.
Do you think that they can grow at a much greater rate than in the past 5 years.

There is a very good podcast today on Masterinvestor where Evil sounds very keen on CKT.
It is about one third of the way in if you do not wish to listen to the full podcast.
The presentation is now on the website, sharesmagazine co uk.
Sorry I am not very good with links but if you go to events, previous events, Shares Innovaton forum, click on seminars and go down to Flowers Room 1215, you should get it.
Well worth a watch and you can make up your mind about the share price drop.
Well I was at the Shares Innovation Forum last week at the Business Design Centre and had a good chat with Guilio Cerroni and a couple of the other Ixico people and they all seemed very upbeat and confident about the future.
I left feeling very reassured and I would not sell a single share.
I am sure that the next few months will be very interesting.
Simon Cawkwell, AKA Evil Knievil on Masterinvestor today.
“Keith Daley reports that things are going well at Checkit. This makes CKT cheap at under 45p.”
Hi npwharf, yes we bailed from Sou and I did very well there, shame for the people who held on but all the warning signs were there.
Tlou has been very frustrating but I am confident that it will come good in the end and the share price will be many multiples of where it is today, so I shall hold on to my golden tickets.
Good luck.
A comment on Masterinvestor about gold from Evil.
“I have had a most frustrating time in gold but have re-entered at $1570. Long term, it should be impossible to lose.
Brad, if you go on to the proactive investors co uk site and search Tlou, the magnifying glass, top right you can get all the videos.
Good luck
Yes but there will be no hedging at all in the very near future.
I have read a few bullish predictions on the gold price for this year, just hope that they are true.
Still think that the price here is very cheap.
Mr Bond, final results were on 28th Feb last year so I would expect much the same this year.
I see that Jim Mellon on Masterinvestor expects the gold price to be firmly over $1700 by March.
That would be nice.
There are a few things to look forward to and by next year we could enjoy the following.
Nett debt reduced from $31.5 mil to $14.3 mil last year should be nil by end of next year.
Finance expense for 2018 was $6,179 mil, will be gone this year.
VAT refund of $21.8 mil still due, progress being made.
Mid guidance for this year 82,509 oz.
Realised gold price for 2019 was $1378 current price around $1550 at current rates this would produce an additional $14.19 mil. Note the hedging will end in a few months.
Happy to hold for the medium/long term.
Good luck.
Brad, I think that he may have said that at an Oilcapital conference about 4 years ago which I was at and had a good chat with him at the coffee break.
That was when I first invested after the presentation and chat, it has taken a lot longer than I thought but I am still very confident that it will be a great investment.
Chris I believe that is correct, I would also add that I have every confidence in the board and I personally think that as soon as commercial gas flows are confirmed then the PPA and finance will very rapidly fall in to place.
You can hardly blame Tony for too much water, which in any case is taken as a positive and should also expedite the next series of wells.
If you work out the long term numbers we could all be very well rewarded for our patience.
How about Bridge Over Troubled Water, Waterloo Sunset or even some Handel Water Music.
A good New Year to all.
No Easy, I was just thinking about the Oceans leaking into the wells yesterday and almost posted similar.
Perhaps I should sell my shares and put the money on the Botswana swimming team for the next Olympics.
I am sure that Tony and the rest of the Tlou people are just as frustrated as we are, however there is no point in taking shortcuts just to save some time.
If what we have been told is true then we are almost there and things are looking good.
I personally think that the Gas Saturation, PPA and Finance are all linked and will fall in to place rapidly when we prove the flow rates.
As Brad has proved earlier, it does not take much to move the share price and when things come together we could all be pleasantly surprised.
