Craig, has it never occurred to you that to protect their waters they reduce their fishing fleet just like the UK had to with the introduction of the the Common Fisheries Policy.
This gives European fishing fleets equal access to the waters of all EU state within 12 nautical miles of the coast.
Please note, that's the EU state, not the EU state and the UK........ Simples.

LEVIS, I don't think this BB will be particularly quiet next year, whatever happens the undemocratic section of voters will be shouting from the rafters because of a few lorry's parked up on the M20. Not advocating a WTO outcome but any trade deal must be right for the UK, i.e. not at any price, if not, then WTO it is.

The difference being a123 is that the WTO will be the arbiters in the event of dispute, not the ECJ.

7) Replacing the wasteful anti-environmental Common Agricultural Policy.
8) More accountable political system. Direct Parliamentary accountability. Politicians no longer hiding behind EU rules.
9) A new state aid regime that is responsive and in keeping with free market principles, but also that support the agenda of levelling up.
10) New freeports.
11) Taking back control of the £20 billion currently controlled by the EU every year to spend on UK priorities instead.
