Seems some on here have just been made aware of financial services and the EU. It was a trade deal, think about it!!!
If my memory serves me right I believe we applied for equivalence many months back, there was some confusion/blaming going on at the time about how to apply. However this is the EU, we couldn't get anymore equivalent if we tried could we.
It is just the protectionist EU holding things back hoping to collect business from London, well they've failed on that account haven't they?

As to the longer term valuation (providing a concession is granted) that's also anyone's guess, any figures at this stage must surely be hypothetical with so many unknowns. As aug said, the difficulty is, how you value something that hasn’t been fully measured.
Budge has indicated that he would like BEM to proceed alone with this mine development, unlikely IMO due to funding issues. A good example of this would be Sirius Minerals.
All I'm suggesting is that 20p may be obtainable after a positive outcome, who knows? Momentum/sentiment will drive this in the short-term before reality takes over. My strategy (if it happens) will be to sell into the rise, and move on, been here too long already.

You have to remember Rosewall is a fierce SNP supporter and also anti British so any deal wouldn't be good enough.
The SNP even voted for a no deal yesterday and used the whole debate as an independence issue.

No concerns over liquidity, plenty of shares sloping about waiting to change hands, when the underwriters have off loaded their excesses it will probably stabilise somewhat lower.

Just to add some realism, the heady days of a 70p+ SP would have given a market cap of c£120m back then, that same SP today would give a market cap of c£580m.

20p has often been quoted as the expectation for the SP after the concession is granted, that gives a market cap of c£165m before any funding, partnership or takeover actions.
It's a starting point and may even be achievable, but I'm still not expecting a decision anytime soon.

There's been a lot of this in the political and business arena blaming Europe for certain actions. Hopefully now, the time has arrived for some free thinking and individualism to surface.

The EU delays to approve this deal is just another example of the lumbering way they operate, don't know what would happen if the likes of, say the Belgian region of Walloon rejected it, they nearly derailed their Canada deal.

Perhaps it is, with most on here working themselves up into a frenzy, its just like an AIM stock that has got some good news after a few years.
I fail to understand the significance of those who keep quoting prices as if they're "in the know" pointless really, don't you think.
As I said, just like a junior on AIM, junior stock or junior investor, take your pick.
