Monchetundra resources26 Mar 2018 10:29
I have to pinch myself when I reread the level of resources at Monchetundra: 2,000,000 ounces of palladium/platinum (@ $980 an ounce); 28,124 tonnes of copper (@ $6,700 a tonne); 30,410 tonnes of nickel (@ $13,000 a tonne); 62,000 ounces of gold (@ $1,346 an ounce) giving a mind boggling $2,632,212,800 project. Even if you halve that figure and then attribute 35% to EUA as with Kytlim, it still gives a potential MCap of $460,000,000 ... and that is ignoring the Kytlim and Semenovsky projects (yet the likes of SOU have an MCap of £490m with a production time frame and resources of a similar nature). Is it any wonder Sinosteel was quick to offer to pump $150,000,000 into mining Monchetundra? That mining license cannot be too far off. And I can’t see anyone letting political spats get in the way of this kind of money... especially given the Russian interest, albeit the company is listed on AIM. Can’t see EUA lasting much beyond 2018 - has to be an offer made that it couldn’t refuse...... currently .36pps on 1,858,369,000 shares in issue giving an MCap of £6.6m: sold to that oriental gent with the slicked back hair for 20p a share and a bargain, too, sir!
