I have held 500,000 shares for a good few years. I bought in at i8 -9.5p. It was one of Malcys 10 recommendations, It wasn’t the only one either. I know of investors who also still hold the share based on the fact we believe in P.L simple as that. I’m not going to say anymore other than if anyone wants value in a share they need look no farther.

Yes it’s a complete joke and always has been. Antonio Banderas Osório has put in an acting performance worthy of an Oscar. Mind you he’s been paid millions for his blockbusting role. Good ****** riddance. Cost the diehard shareholders a fortune. They should sack the full board and start a fresh.

Hi SF. It’s nice to be reassured. Sometimes your mind can runaway with itself. Sky news , BBC news, it just seems to be nonstop America, Trump , pandemic, bars, cafes closing their doors again unemployment etc. Kinda makes you think negative.

Listening to the news and what’s happening in the states I can’t see us opening up at the end of the month. Are there any others who feel the same ?

Bryn were do you get £2k from do your suns. I am what you see is what you get. Like cars I don’t mind throwing facts into the ring. I was just stating a fact that I bottled it when it came to holding. If the merger does not go ahead at least i am invested in a company who’s producing. Ppl come onto this forum shout their gob off and most of the time are just instigators because they have nothing better to do. I have my disagreements as Jim knows but I want ppl on this site to know I am passionate, honest but most of all we all come out off this time of uncertainty smiling especially Jim. I don’t care who believes me and who doesn’t. My views are based on my investment

Carscoffee. When the merger was being discussed CERP shares were fluctuating between 2.4 p and 2.6 p. On announcement it dropped and hasn’t gained. So CERP shareholders have lost more per share than us BPC shareholders and see it for what it is others don’t. The benefit I’ve had is it allowed me to buy in at 1.95.

I agree with that Carscoffee. I held 1.,900,000 shares in BPC but recently sold 1,000,000 and purchased CERP shares based on that fact I cannot take the risk on BPC if the merger is rejected. It shows the market and investors that shareholders do not trust their board. It sends out the wrong signals.

I agree Carscoffee about voting yes. The board have unanimously agreed to the merger. If you believe in BPC then we have to back the board in their views. We’ve believed and trusted them up until now so to vote no and disagree with the BOD is a contradiction in itself.

I remember Lenigas from the UKOG days. you have certainly seen a few ups and downs then ziquarat.

Tiburn we were told that the funds were already there to complete the drill and that was back in June now it between December and February that’s why I want the merger. Like I said to Jim it’s all about security for me. Maybe I don’t believe the board as much as i would like to.

Jim you are a BPC diehard and you want to go it alone. You can’t have much, if anything, to lose that’s all I can say. Tiburn how do you get Jim’s stance? He talks a load of tosh and as for the analogy or in layman’s terms a comparison regarding a couple going for a mortgage and the merger, well what can I say. You’ll be happy to know I will not be commenting on anymore of your posts.

I get why you come to that conclusion of being desperate but not on this occasion Jim. I’m all about security and a company that’s already producing oil, prospective increase in production and what seems to me a decent drilling programme. That said I know we have great prospects with P1 and CERP agreeing to the merger tells me this. The bigger the company, the better our options when it comes to investment, bonds etc. The bigwigs will take more notice of us.
