I didn't post much yesterday (although I did a bit) but I made a conscious decision not to as people were happy that it was rising and I didn't want to pop any bubbles or be accused of doing so.

You will see that if the share price is down then there should be no critically thinking posts and if the share price is up there should be no critically thinking posts.

Please just filter me and leave me be.

Ive been invested about 6 months here back when btc was around 32k ish

I have watched the thing we mine, our underlying assets and principle money making mechanism literally go up 100%+ in that time. I am none the richer in any meaningful way.

If I held an oil share and the price of oil literally doubled I would expect something similar in growth.

Here there has been one anti climax after the other, very badly performing stock Co sidering btc has done 100% growth.

I am not a happy investor.

His job is.also to deliver shareholder value, there have been plenty of CEOs removed due to a poorly performing shareprice so it is his Job.

As for being " Very happy here".. I don't quite get how you can be happy about a massively undervalued company you hold shares in, its not logical.

It's like going to see a movie that you really want to see and someone is kicking the back of the seat for 2 hours.

The movie might of been fantastic and your happy with the facility, but to come away from it saying you were 'very happy' just wouldn't be what I call a logical response.

You can like the company potential but not the situation we find ourselves in.

I really do think we are on the back foot until we know how we are going to get 200mw of rugs up and running by middle of next year...

250 million quid or some other strategy but we should really be put in the picture as its always going to hold us back I think

Now your talking, all the cool kids are doing it, but if you really want to go mad with it then produce each one as a collection and sell fractions of the NFT bottle.. That way you create a demand for someone to buy all the Nfts in the collection whilst still having it reasonably priced.

I've never been into art/wines really.. I've got a few first edition prints and my only wine collecting was a flop.. I had a bottle of champagne bought for me on my 18 birthday on condition I opened it on my wedding day.

I got married in my mid 30s and had it on my wedding day on the top table with my friends who bought it for me.. Smelt like homeless persons urine and tasted like.. Well..
the only way I can describe it... It tasted like a fart.

Looks like the board police are out and about, I think we're are being blamed again for talking the share price down.. Ironically thier assumption is just as accurate now as it usually is.

Yea to me it's insane but it's the same as collecting art. How much of it is for arts sake and how much is with the prospect of making money who knows.

Ive got a nerd side and I like Marvel, there are a wjlle bunch of marvel NFTs, a bit of a never ending supply of them. I mine Eth so for me to buy one is very straight forwards and I've come close many times because its around 30 quid.

Each time I go to buy, even for just 30 quid I think to myself what on earth am I going to actually 'DO' with it and then I buy a pizza instead.

We live in a world.. No not a world anymore.. A Metaverse now which just has some many flavours of crazy I don't know which one to try.

I have held onto a few stocks which I was absolutely sure would keep growing and go to the moon.

So I sat patiently waiting for my profit to come to me, I watched as I went 10% down, 30% down 40% down. I watched my money pot go down by tens of thousands but I was convinced they would go back up.

I was in regular communications with the CEO on one of the stock and got to know him well, I was invited to the states to come and see my invested and have a tour, lunch etc.

The shares never did recover, some delisted and one has turned into a sub 0.5p share with a billion shares in issue.

If I would of stayed put and just sat it out I would of literally had nothing now except a sick feeling and regret.

Yes, sit things out to a degree but remember the old saying... You will NEVER go broke by taking a profit no matter how small but you most certainly will go broke sitting on loss after loss.

The only rule that is guaranteed to keep you safe... Don't lose money.

Yea it's crazy but also not.. We were brought up with collectable such as art, stamps etc and the NFT scene has the same premise but with incentives.

You can print off the mona Lisa, in fact you could. Probably get an even better mona Lisa printed and you could put it in your wall and look at her all day long But is isn't the actual mona Lisa.

I could have a copy of a digital photo that is exactly the same as the original, BUT it's not the original and for some reason humans put value on the original even if you can get an exact copy, it's logically crazy but because others want it, it's valuable.

NFTs go a step further and incentive thier own creation by baking in a forward selling fee back to the originator, genius really.. Make someone want it by saying its the only one ever and then collect a fee everyone it's sold.

Ironically the NFT we all have is our time on this rock, it should be the most valuable thing in the world and yet we sell it for. Minimum wage or maybe worse... Posting on message boards about using up time haha

The problem is though if you never sell (or trade it for something else) then it's not really a currency that can be used.

We maybe need a mix of holders for stability but btc has to keep changing hands, whether that be using it to buy fiat, or goods or services otherwise its less of a practical currency and more of a collectable.

Collectable have financial worth when they are exchanged for either 'money' or given as a trade something but all things then need to be 'valued' against something.

I am seeing BTC less as a form of future mainstream currency and more like the original quasi NFT.

NFTs have perceived value based on thier rarity but they are in the main fundamentally worthless unless someone says they are worth something.

Money in itself is just a practice medium of exchange but 'exchange' is the key word. Just holding onto it forever and never spending it (unless you can use it to generate something to spend) is kind of pointless and negates it's purpose as a currency.

I could ramble on for hours on the subject but if btc isn't used to exchange then for me it has the same value as a NFT.

Who knows where it will go, current equivilant price to usd is 140p.

The drop stopped in aftermarket so nothing fundamentally wrong just some money leaving the ecosystem.

BTC does what BTC does although interesting stocks led the BTC drop... Btc has fallen from 68k to 65k so around a 5% drop which in my book is noise.

There doesn't appear to be any damaging news so it's most likely unwinding/profit taking on the run weve had in crypto.

I bought plenty more riot literally before it dropped which is an annoyance but so be it, if I thought I was only going to make 10% I wouldn't bother with the risk.

It's just the game we're in, btc goes up, btc goes down and hopefully a little more up than down.

Yes just to wee on it abit... Yes it's an all time high for Arbk but nowhere near ath for arb, its only been listed a few weeks do easy to get the ath banner.

I am interested in when we will raise more funds because I want to be on the right side of it this time.

People seem to forget my posts where I say my own valuation of Argo is 230p and that I think it's undervalued just like everyone else.

The difference is I've posted all my calcs and reasoning to support 230p whereas many others don't back up what their spouting.

I get a tag of being negative all the time but I've posted plenty on target prices, valuations, how to safely raise funds for 200mw etc.

That doesn't change the fact we don't have the money fir it right now and we will have to raise funds to pay for the 200mw.

If Argo starts showing some signs of life (and I don't just mean a little 10% rise) then I'll put more money in.

It will be done cautiously though as I don't want to be a bag holder.

Technically no, the MM are not under any obligation to set the price at any previous close, logically it should be somewhere about right but we've seen it happen here recently where we opened lower than close.

Theres umpteen reasons but at the end of the day tgr MM will set a bid and buy to create a market

If it can show signs of life tomorrow and not just open low I might just stick another 10k in, if its still flounderingbthough I'll pass as its too dull to gave more money just sat there.

I'm quite interested in how we will open tomorrow.

Its like Argo is a yang to other miners ying. It seems to just do the opposite of what you'd expect.

It's almost like it's a safe haven, when btc drops buy argo, when miners fall buy argo.

It's a very odd coefficient and I havn't quite got my head around why it behaves that way.

Maybe it's actually considered a safer bet, like being a port in a storm, but soon as the storm has lifted there's way more excitement to be had than being stuck in a port.
