So it looks like that Biden infrastructure bill has passed without adopting any ammendments for crypto so my take on it is that it can now be taxed.

Not sure what effect this will have if any.

If proof of stake proves to be successful and equally as secure (will need a decent run). Then I see ethereum as being the dominant crypto, that doesn't mean more expensive but more useful and adopted by many.

The ETH upgrade coming soon is more of a risk to our current business model than anything else in my book.

I am bias as I mine eth but I can see it being the daddy of crypto in the future.

I think it includes the rigs just not the expected increase from immersion mining over air.

I did say I only sold my Isa not SIPP but, You do realise that if it was orchestrated I wouldn't of said I had sold ybecause that would be daft, I think I have a differnt logic to a lot of folks. I give people information that there is no way you could know and you try to make out it some great finding that you've done..

I've still got things to do so can't stay long, so far it doesn't look like the board is a hive of positivity without my posts, maybe later

I have bought back in at a penny difference so yes I have lost money doing it :) only a few hundred quid which I'd do again tomorrow if the same things happens again. There was plenty of risk and a big unknown for me with the US viewpoint, turns out they have the same shoulder shrug as the UK.

I still have 30% of my whole SIPP invested here which isn't small.. BTW I'm not trying to kill any positivity, I just disagree with a heck of a lot that's said.

I've got a busy afternoon today though, so please let the positivity flow. I am hoping to come back to a happy beaming positive board this evening.

Bit harsh, I bet that wouldn't come across like that in real life if we were stood face to face (I can almost guarantee that :)) .

You may not like my posts, thats what the filter is for, but with all of the abuse I get from a band of people here you've never seen me attack a poster or be derogatory to an individual, not a single bit of name calling.

I have opinion based on fact and I share them.

Please just use the filter, it's what it's there for.

That's quite a valid scenario but if I believe that will be the direction I will sell everything now.

Imagine doing an IPO which hammered shareholders but pays for a top class mining factory but then putting in some half burnt out, old tech into it and then to top it off, do not increase your global hashrate because you've just moved existing rigs (most likely advantage to electric costs though).

If that was our strategy I would lose all hope, but then again I don't kkow what the strategy is because we're not told (unlike other miners).

All we know is we have our smart growth strategy.

Just reading through some of the stocktwits posts on arbk, some of whom post here.

They are claiming that the release of news is all good and that the big spend just refers to the 800mw capacity.
They are claiming that the initial 200mw capacity is fully funded.

The 200mw capacity is not fully funded at all, the building is funded but the ~240 million USD needed for rigs is not funded.. The best we have is some left over change and that elusive 100millon loan.. That still leaves us way short.

I'm all for a bit of positive posting but not when it's flat out lies.

Its kinda how message boards work, you have the negative view point and the positive view point, mash together the extremes and you get the realistic viewpoint.

These boards are not supposed to be fan club sites. There just in any point having a message board having completely positive posting all the time especially when the stock is under performing more than I've known most other stocks and when they are doing daft things like yesterday.

It's not all sunshine and roses, there are some fundamental issues that PIs are discussing,. Sometimes those issues are not positive, that doesn't make them less valid, just unpalatable.

They are missing a trick with that.. They should make the digital twin via a NFT and sell on the NFT whilst keeping the original.. Or vice versa, sell the stamp after creating rights to the NFT

For me it depends how the US take it and do we get fined or anything like that, the immediate unknown for though is the US view on leaked information, I know the UK market basically shrugs it off in its less regulated way but a newly listed nasdaq company.. I just don't know

A few percent is actually more than we have made for months here so I couldn't fault people for doing that. I dropped my Isa account this morning at 120p with the expectation of rebuying this afternoon when I can see how the US has taken it.

If it goes up today instead then so be it, I'm tired of just holding and watching it drop.

I would prefer to miss a few percent profit going up then lose a few percent by holding.

I know people didn't believe the figures when I and other posted them a while back from our own calculations but just for rigs it will be around a billion gbp.

The original clacs, just for rigs came in at 120 million usd for each 100mw.

Its why its been stated many times we don't have money to hand to even come close to putting in 200mw.

But posting that makes me a troll and negative.

I have also posted in the past how I would raise the money needed in a sensible fashion.

That being said it's probably a moot point because I think getting hold of the 60,000 rigs needed for 200mw will be the issue

No, you must be mistaken, if you follow a passionate few on here, we we have the best team ever. So much so thier supporters will get angry if you say otherwise.

You never know, it might have a positive effect now they have published some forward looking statements. To any reasonable investor, that twitter content was always to be taken as 'possible' not fact as there are too many variables.
