Perhaps corporate governance, remuneration committee, that sort of thing, but I'm only guessing. It'll be a fee rather than a salary as such and I wouldn't expect it to be even close to £100k. A typical NED on a FTSE 250 level company will probably get £50k or so a year."
Ahh I thought it was more.. For some reason I had $120k in my head and the NED incentive scheme from the prospectus, I could be wrong though.. I'm dealing with a lot of numbers in the real world atm so things get blurred ha.
There was a lot of drama associated with renumeration to get "the best" people and I get the value added people (Ops, technicians and even PMs), it's just a little more grey for me where NEDs are concerned. I work as a Strategic partner to executive directors, vice presidents and various other levels on a daily basis helping them define thier future corporate strategies, I'm not a NED.
