so lombard have acquired over 12.5% of the company at about 30p a share.blinder! no idea what they will have paid for their pre-existing holding but perhaps other posters know.still no idea whats going on though.

bunco if they get to 30% or above (including any holdings of any associated concert party)they have to make a cash offer at not less than the highest price they have paid(not paid generally )within the previous 12 month.i have no idea what is going on,so just looking at the various views at the moment.

inclined to think it was a buy,as although it was delayed publication so would have taken place when bid was higher, a sell would have brought the s/p down significantly imo,despite todays RNS.positive news today as indicates confidence in progress.

will be interesting yes,but i don't think any one individual holder had that percentage.anyway no doubt more to follow.

agree bunco.it is a little odd.it could just have been put in as a filler or as some attempt at a sop to the expected disappointment, but on balance it does seem to carry some sort of internal significance. we shall see .no doubt RS1s will be arriving in due course as they are organised.

hard to argue with that.i don't usually post to berate the bod as there are no doubt problems we often don't know about and ****ging them off doesn't really achieve anything but here i think it is justified. i think the tone and wording of the recent RNSs were certainly designed to give an optimistic impression about the FSP and it would seem overly optimistic.i should have been more cynical about them as the s/p was telling a different story .still think we shall get a bid and i have always thought that it was not going to reach the higher figures put forward by some.time will tell

yes thats what i think.60p or above imo.i would be ok with that although i realise many wouldn't.

bunco i think that is highly likely.perhaps thinking that if BOD won't accept say 65/70p we will go hostile?just a guess of course and in the rediction stakes I'm not doing too well.anyway its interesting and i certainly don't think todays announcement justifies a sustained large fall.obviously there must have been some real interest at something above 50p for the process to have gone on so long.

well that was my first thought ,hence my first post,but i hadn't spotted the date of the court order,so really only a day or so has elapsed before the announcement could have been made,so perhaps timing not significant.could be wrong of course.
